When depression decided to drop by,
It clouded my vision in black,
And I don't know why,
I simply can't turn back.
It's like I'm drowning,
But everyone around me is breathing,
Inside I'm doubting,
My heart is still beating.
A smile is displayed on my face,
but my eyes hold the secrets,
They show the true place,
They go the deepest.
I want to give up,
I really do,
But I'm hanging in there,
And so should you.

Poetry From The Soul
PoetryI've been getting more into poetry lately, and thought I would post some of them on here. Yes, most of them will be sad, or about depression and anxiety, because that's what I can mostly relate to at the moment.
