Telling him:

You and Corazon had been out and about all day. As soon as you woke up this morning, he told you he would be taking you to various places: out to breakfast, shopping, out to lunch, on a walk through the sakura tree garden, to a cafe for tea, and then to dinner. It was now evening and the two of you were headed home. You weren't sure why your boyfriend decided to take you out everywhere today but you appreciated it and had a blast. While this plan for the day was news to you when he initially told you about it, you had your own news for him: you're pregnant. However, that wasn't planned.

You found out today and wanted to tell him today but couldn't find the time to tell him while out enjoying yourselves. You also did not want to move the mood from joyful to potentially serious. In an effort to avoid that, you aimed to tell him when you got home.

Walking home, Corazon stays next to you and holds your hand. It's shaking a bit. You look down at his hand and ask him if he is alright. He tells you he is fine but is waiting for something. Now curious, you ask what he is anticipating but instead of giving you an explanation, he stops dead in his tracks but does not let go of your hand. Confused, you look at him but he is now kneeled onto one knee. With sincere eyes he looks up at you and begins to speak.

"[Y/N], we've been together for a long time now and I love you more than anything or anyone. I love you more and more each day. I want to see you happy and live out your dreams. And...I want to live out one of my dreams with you. I want to marry you. Will you marry me?"

You notice a small box that he is handing to you. It's open and contains a wedding ring. You were in disbelief and didn't know what to say other than a resounding "YES!" With that, he slides the ring over your finger and stands up to give you a hug and passionately kisses you. A tear runs down your cheek. This was all done in public area so multiple strangers witnessed the proposal. They all clapped and cheered the moment after you said yes. After the crowd disperses, you are kissed one more time. However, you stay embraced in that same hug. This is when you needed to tell him.

"I love you so much, [Y/N] and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you".

"I love you, too. I actually have something I need to tell you, too". You pull back a bit so you are face to face with him. You can feel your heart rate increase and a knot in your stomach form. You're already too deep to back out now and you know this so you try with all of your willpower to just come out and admit it but this turns out to be one of the most difficult things you've ever had to do. You didn't think that he would be angry at the news but still, this pregnancy was unplanned and that was a factor he might consider.

Corazon lightly brushes your cheek with his hand and asks what it is you need to tell him. "You're not gonna take back your yes, are ya?"

"No! No! It's not that at all! I just...I found something out and I think this is the ideal time to come out with it and I am nervous to say".

"Don't be. You know you can tell me anything" *kisses*

"I'm-I'm pregnant".

He steps back but not far enough to leave the hug. His face is blank but also of surprise.

"Are you sure? You have to be sure. When did you this find out?"

"I am sure. I found out...today, actually".

"Today?"

"Yeah. I didn't want to bring it up during our day out to avoid...ruining it. I was going to tell you when he got home tonight but after the proposal, it felt right to tell you. I know we didn't plan for this and I understand if you're scared. I am a little scared, too but I-"
