I wonder what Haley might have taken Ruh to now.

Doesn't matter. I get to spend 3 days with her.

just what I needed.

I head to departure and see him waiting.

He catches my sight immediately.

I head over to him and stop in front of him.

"Hey" He says looking at me

"Why are you picking me up?" I ask getting straight to the point.

"I just thought it would be more convenient than a cab and I had nothing else to do" He says shrugging and reaching his hand out to grab my suitcase

"I can do it." I say

"Really?" He says

"Yes just open the car" I say stubbornly

"Fine have it your way" He says

"I am" I say sassily

He opens the trunk and I try to lift my suitcase.

It's too heavy. I bought too many things for Ruh.

"May I?" Jack asks after seeing me struggle for 5 minutes.

"Fine" I hand him the luggage and walk towards the passenger seat without looking at him.

I hear him chuckle behind me and say "stubborn girl"

He always used to say that.

I put on my seatbelt as he opens the door and gets in the car.

"You cut your hair." I state as he puts his seatbelt on.

He always had his hair curly or in a mullet because I used to love it that way.

Not anymore.

"Oh um yea, Haley said she liked it like this.... um" He says not making eye contact with me.

I just nod.

Of course he cuts his hair the way she likes. she's his girlfriend.

It's been almost 15 minutes since he started driving and we haven't said a word to each other.
