Till death do us apart

(Before you start reading, I just wanted to say that this chapter is just me trying to find the quickest way to disclose the 'finding the one piece' part. I truly cant give you all something that is worthy of being the one piece and also because I lost all motivation and I cant think and I wanna start another story😓😓)

The waves seemed to be against us the day we decided to finally set off to Laugh tale.

A lot of storms and thunders that gave off an unsettling sensation the more we got closer. As if it was telling us not to get any closer.

The days that passed felt like they were in haste, it felt like a vivid dream. 

From trying to overcome large waves & natural disasters to getting lost and having to change our direction a multiple of times.

The weight of the stress that crushed us daily due to how many things stood in our way was detestable. 

It was announced in the news not so long ago that marine admirals have been sent after us. It made things worse than they were. 

Luckily, now of them got to us, but yet it made things more stressful.

1 day before arriving to Laugh tale, it was a tiring day. Usopp had caught a troublesome fever which had him bedridden ever since he got it. Chopper has been working on medicines ever since, even though he claims he doesn't really get the symptoms Usopp is giving off.

I spent the whole day on the deck as I am holding onto the map to Laugh tale I had drawn. I was afraid we had mess up again when we are so close to achieving what we wanted.

The day was rather quiet, but excitement was visible on everybody. Luffy was sitting on the figurehead, not making a move since the start of the day. He had a merry smile on his face.

His smile is so contagious, just by looking at him you can feel more frenzy. 

Which made me more motivated to do what I must do to arrive there safely. The whole crew expect Chopper & Usopp were gathered on the deck waiting for the final moment where the island was finally in sight.

Just by staring out to the sea, you can feel nostalgic. As memories of our past adventure flashed infront of my eyes, I could feel like crying. This sensation that ran through my body tingling it. I felt at peace for some reason.

At any moment now, the island which is the reason our pirate crew was gathered will be in sight and the greatest treasure in the world 'the One Piece' will be discovered.

I stood there, the heavy air running through my hair, the air was more fresh than usual. 

I took a deep breath as I smiled as to what's yet to come.

At night

I sighed in annoyance-- so much for a person who was just about to smiling so happily in the morning.

The reason for this outrage was because of how long it actually took to arrive. We were supposed to arrive in the morning, yet we haven't. 

...What a way to spoil all the excitement!

Everybody didn't look that much pleased with the situation either expect Luffy who's excitement remained unscathed.

Looking at him made me scoff because it was as if I was looking at a ray of sunshine.

Me and the rest of the crew sat in a circle even usopp who was sick sat with us with snot constantly dropping from his nose while Luffy stayed in his place. We were sharing snacks while Luffy had his share with him.
