Chapter 18.

Author's POV.

After dropping her home Manik made his way to his apartment.

In the whole ride he was thinking about today's incident. He didn't shows his emotions that doesn't mean he don't feel anything but he is not ready to show it to anyone. Because he thinks people will see him as weak .

And he is not ready to let anyone see his vulnerable side . And he made sure no one can break his walls no-one.

But he don't know it will break not so soon but it will happen somehow . !! He knew this but was not ready to accept.

He made his way into his apartment only to see Aman was sitting on the couch with a drink in his hand .

When he saw Manik he gestured him to join him . Manik made his way towards him and sat on the couch and waited for him to start the conversation.

"Bhai you okay ??." Aman asked . Trying to initiate some talk . Because somehow he was feeling guilty. If he was not here then it would have not happened in the first place .

Manik already made him understand that it was not his fault . But he was not ready to understand.

"I'm fine buddy !! Don't worry you are not at fault . Don't take stress . I'm here everything will be okay .. hmm??" Manik said .

Aman only nodded and made a drink for him and passed it to him .

Thinking to divert the mind he changed the topic. " Bhai . How was the ride from company to here ??" He asked wiggling his eyebrows.

Manik stopped drinking and looked towards him . And saw his smirk plastered on his face . He knew what he was trying to say .

"It was nice " he said bluntly.

"Nice or very much nice and hot??" Aman asked but it only fueled his anger .

"Aman I know what you are trying to do . So stop this otherwise you will not like the consequences." He said sternly.

"Bhai I was only joking. Ok let's change the topic." Aman said .

" Bhai let's go tomorrow, let's go for some movie." Aman said . Tommorow was holiday in company. And he knew today's event will roam in his mind so he thought to make some changes.

" No buddy I'm okay here . You go I want some rest !" Manik said he just wanted to sleep and after today's event he have to prepare his plan.

" Huff!!! Bhai you are so boring . Leave it !! I, and Nandu will go alone and in yours ticket I'll take Cabir with us ! " Aman said in an annoying tone.

On the name of cabir's name Manik's ear perked up no he will not go with them !!

"Ok buddy I'll come don't worry. Ok now good night." Saying he left from there because he know he will tease him and he was already exhausted to fight with him .

Aman was shock and amused after hearing this but soon after it converted in smirk . Agar mujhe pehle pata hota toh mai I wouldn't have to do this much drama!!

Manik came in his room changed in his tshirt and lower and tossed in bed .

And was trying to sleep but that house was coming in his mind he can't let Neyonika win this case he will do anything to take that house from her .

It was his dad's last memory he can't let her win. Thinking all this he drifted to sleep

"N- no please don't do this ." He was shivering very badly .

"Please leave me !! I'll be a good boy , don't hurt me ! PLEASE! " his voice was quivering and big fat tears was leaking from his eyes
