  Wooyoung's pov

"How much do you know about kpop, Wooyoung?" My boss asked, giving me a questioning look.

"Quite a bit; I know a lot of the groups and their music pretty well."

"Great! Tomorrow's guest is Ateez. Have you heard of them?"

"Ateez? Are you sure?" I asked calmly, panicking internally.

Ateez's music and content have gotten me through tough times. I knew every member's name, age, and if you asked me a question about them, I would know the answer to it easily.

"Yep! They'll be here at 8am, so learn them well if you don't already." My boss turned and walked away, leaving me with a mental mess.

I was going to meet Ateez? I was going to interview them? Me?

I truly couldn't believe what I was told. I clocked out of work, packed my bag, and left the news station.

I took my time getting home, looking around at my surroundings commonly. It was a beautiful walk home, trees and flowers dotting around the walkway.

I tossed my bag onto my couch once I made it inside my apartment. I dropped onto the couch beside my bag, my head in my hands.

"How the hell am I going to keep a straight face when I meet them tomorrow?" I groaned, rubbing at my eyes with my fingertips.

I got myself ready for bed, then climbed under the blankets. I sighed softly and soon fell asleep.

Mingi's pov

"There's an 8 am live interview tomorrow morning. Please, get some rest." Our manager asked, specifically looking at me.

"Why are you looking at me?" I asked. Our manger came to place his hands on my shoulders.

"You'll need it. The interviewer's name is-"

"I don't care about that right now. I'll learn their name tomorrow when we meet," I snapped, then felt a bit bad about doing so. I apologized to the manager, who repeated his prior words.

"Just get some rest, Min."

I walked into my hotel room and locked the door behind me. I laid face down on the couch for a few minutes before dragging myself into the bed.

"Min, you really should get some rest. Tomorrow is gonna be a long day," Seonghwa said, speaking to me over FaceTime. I nodded, listening to the elder group mate.

I laid my head down on the white pillow and soon fell asleep.

The next morning, the seven of us got ready for our interview. We all had our makeup, hair, and wardrobe done for us, so we just had to sit still once we were dressed.

"What do you think?" The makeup artist asked, turning me towards the mirror to see my makeup.

"Could you make my eyes a little more smoky?" I asked. The artist nodded with a small smile.

"Of course!"

We soon arrived at the news station. We didn't get a chance to meet the interviewers beforehand, so we stood in front of the cameras with them once we were told to.

The interviewers were stood between the seven of us. One was a male, and the other was a female.

"Good morning everyone! Today, we have Ateez here with us! Please, intro-" the male interviewer and I made eye contact, sending a sharp pain throughout my body, making me faint.

Third pov

"Oh shit, is he okay?" Wooyoung asked, swiftly catching Mingi before he could hit the floor. The six conscious Ateez members gaped at Wooyoung, making him feel anxious.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to make him faint, I promise! I- are Mingi and I soulmates?" Wooyoung asked, looking up at Seonghwa.

"You two are," Seonghwa said, a soft smile on his lips. Wooyoung smiled as well, looking down at the man on his lap. Wooyoung nervously carded his fingers through Mingi's hair, hoping to soothe him enough to awaken.

"I don't think I can believe that. How would someone like Mingi be stuck with me?" Wooyoung asked, not noticing as Mingi woke up and heard him speak.

"Why can't I understand Korean anymore?" He asked, looking towards the other members of his group.

"You and Wooyoung are soulmates, Mingi." Hongjoong smiled widely at him.

"No we're not!" Mingi exclaimed, jumping up from where Wooyoung held him on the floor of the news station.

"How the hell could we be soulmates? I thought I rejected my soulmate!" Mingi exclaimed. Wooyoung looked towards Hongjoong for a translation.

"Mingi thought he rejected his soulmate, but here you are." Hongjoong then looked towards Mingi, "Don't you dare reject the person who is made for you- made to love you better than anyone else in this world! Do you not see how happy us six are? Please, Mingi, give this a chance."

"I, Song Mingi, reject you as my soulmate!"
