Romanticise your life they told her,
She went out looking for him.
Maybe he would have filled the void
She felt a sense of belonging
and hoped he would stay forever.
He an alpha male made her see life
Philosophically.
She saw her brokenness and realised
He wasn't the problem but she was.
He took a step back.
Who are you?
She didn't recognise herself,
He knew she was powerful and she had
To see that for herself.
She looked back and saw all the chaos
She had started and hoped for an end
But how?
