Here I stand, with a heart so true,
Navigating love, not knowing what to do.
I wear my heart on my sleeve, it's plain to see,
But sometimes, love can be so complicated, you agree?

I've played it cool, tried to keep it low,
But my feelings overflow, and they start to show.
I've made a fool of myself, I won't deny,
But hey, I'm young and I'm dumb, that's no lie.

I do stupid things when it comes to love,
Taking risks, hoping for a sign from above.
Even if I end up crying, feeling blue,
You can't blame a girl for trying, it's what we do.

I've shut my mouth, tried to keep it hushed,
But excitement bursts forth, can't be crushed.
