You layed next to Amethyst just bathing in the sunlight as you two talked about sea animals. Not a topic that will Reel you in. Get it? Anywho, you got tired of the topic and moved onto something else, "So, what was Rose like, Ame?" You asked. She cringed at Rose's name but she never let it get the best of her.
Amethyst sighed and sat up, inhaling and exhaling air she didn't really need, "Rose was.....like a mother to me. When I came out of the Kindergarden....I found her and the rest of the guys and they took me in.... With out her, we wouldn't even be the crystal gems. Infact, I wouldn't be here talking to you about this without her and the others. My entire lifespan, which is forever, depended on the move Rose made... She took me in as a daughter. She loved everything, Steven..." She finished, she realised what she had called you and corrected herself immediately, "S-sorry... I mean (Y/n). I'm just used to Steven asking these questions....."
You had already started crying about her story and wiped your eyes as she gave you a worried look, "Yo, (Y/n)? You alright?" She asked you wiping the tears away. You nodded as a light purple blush tinted her cheeks as she brought her lips closer to yours and molded together.
You melted into the kiss and then pulled away need air. Amethyst gave you a smile, the blush still evident as she got up and walked back to the temple, "And the thing is, (Y/n). You are basically like my, Rose. Caring for everything and everyone, and thats why I love you." She said as she continued to walk off.
You stared at her figure walk into the distance as her body completely disappeared. "I love you too, Ame...." You whispered lying back onto the beach chair.
