I'm excited to share my 2024 ONC entry with you all. FOMO got the best of me, so here I am with a new story!
This is my second year participating with the Open Novella Contest. I love the camaraderie and coming across and supporting amazing talented writers on the platform. Last year my ONC story shortlisted for the Watty's which took me completely by surprise.
I love writing challenges and contests like this one that give me an opportunity to try new tropes, or genres. This story will include: Billionaire trope, grumpy vs sunshine, and hidden identity. There will be adult humor, slowburn love, romcom vibes, lots of angst and more than likely steamy scenes hence the mature rating.
My hope is to keep this story at a novella length, but we'll see, as a longwinded pantser, it's probably not going to go that way, LOL. It's very possible this will end up at my usual 100K+ novel length. I also want to see if I can turn this into a series.
