Chapter 12

After three hours, Ami started to wake up.

Loki smiled slightly, taking her hand. "Easy Bunny."

"Lo." She mumbled before feeling Buky's hand in her other. "Buck."

"Hey Bunny." He murmured, moving some of her hair from her face.

Loki brought a cup with a straw to her lips.

Ami hummed in appreciation. "That was so good."

Loki chuckled. "I bet."

Banner knocked on the door, getting their attention.

"Ms..I'm sorry I don't know which name to use." Bruce stated as he stepped in.

"You can call me Ami." She replied. "So what's the damage, Doc?" Ami asked as she tried to move.

Bucky and Loki immediately helped her sit up.

Bruce started checking her vitals.

"Well, Ami, you got lucky. The person who jerked you down stopped the bullet from hitting you in the heart."

Both men tightened their grips on Ami's hands, hearing that.

"Easy boys." She murmured.

Bruce watched the three and then continued. "Whatever you were shot with was heavy duty. I was able to get most of it cleared from your system, but it's a compound that I'm unfamiliar with."

Ami nodded slightly. "I figured as much." She sighed softly. "If felt like a mixture of Ivy's and Crane's toxins with something else."

Bruce nodded slightly. "I've gone over what Batman sent and having a friend helping me analyze everything."

Ami nodded and then noticed Nick walking to the door. "Hey, Pops."

Nick sighed. "You really like to give your old man a heart attack, don't you?"

"I mean, compared to my boyfriends, you're a teen."

Loki and Bucky chuckled lightly while Nick rolled his eye.

"Smartass." The three replied.
