Maya kept her head down as she continued to walk down the lonely halls of her school. She felt as if someone was in front of her, but her head refused to move from it's uncomfortable position. Her heart continued to beat rapidly and her grip on her books continued to loosen due to the fact that her palms became sweatier by the second. She didn't do well socially and the thought of her bumping into someone in these deserted hallways frightened her to no end.
Ashton continued counting the tiles as he walked down the hallway to his next class, which he was already late for. He heard much softer footsteps approaching and his hearing immediately picked up on it. His head bolted upward, when his body came into contact with a much smaller one.
