I woke up with a start feeling coldness all around me and water being splashed on me. I opened my eyes wide to see another pair of eyes which belonged to Chris. I instantly pushed him away and screamed '' what were you thinking pouring water on me you are totally dead in 3 if you don't run. NOW!'' By three he was out my door laughing his a$$ off. I looked
at the time and the little piece of sh^t woke me up at 4:30 in the morning. I don't know what for but I just started doing my normal routine that I usually do in the morning and dress in black skinnies, a whit crop top, ankle leather boots, and leather jacket with my hair curled. I organized all my things and went downstairs. I went to the living room where Chris was waiting with a bunch of papers and a pen. He looked happy, excited, and nervous. I guess he saw my confused face because he suddenly yelled '' hurry up we don't have all day! We gotta write a thanx to you know who's and we have to be there early to put it in One of their lockers so yea> HURRY UP!'' with that I ran the rest of the way plopped down on the sofa with a sigh. I hope he doesn't remember it was us and doesn't do anything to us and just thinks of it as a simple thanx of a random person. Chris was spreading out different colored piece of papers and glitter and other stuff that are too girly for them. '' Don't you think a simple note will do and isn't this too girly for them you know scary bad boys not exactly what you would do for them.'' He looked at me with a smile and said '' WELLLLL do you think I care. No I don't and I want to have fun before we die if they found out we gave them this and came after us.'' I shook my head a chuckle being released sigh and said '' alright then let's start this death dooming letter.'' We started and ended up with a light blue paper with glitter everywhere and a big THANK YOU in the middle with different colors and on the bottom corner in little words were please don't look for us! We looked at the time and it was time to go. I looked at Chris and said '' READY FOR OUR DOOM!!'' He looked nervous while I just kept my face hidden of emotions but it was killing me in the inside. He looked at me frowned but then smiled a little knowing me well and nodded taking my hand. Dragging me out of the house and running to the bus stop just in time for it to come. When we got in we found a empty seat in the back where no one was. Actually now looking around there was barley anyone in this bus today and the ones who were, were sitting in the front. Chris got in and then pushed me down making me grunt and him giggle like if it was funny. I glared at him and said '' what do you think you were doing?'' Ready to attack him with my fingers. I guess he noticed because he quickly shook his head no and said '' pleaseee don't it's too early!'' I shook my head and smiled yawning saying '' yes you did wake me up early so now is my time to sleep'' I layed my head on his shoulder without him protesting and snuggled up to him. But, he just put me on his lap and put my head against his chest. I swear sometimes I imagine him being my mother and he would be a pretty good one at that.
I woke up to someone shaking and yelling, '' GET YOUR FAT SELF OFF ME AND MOVE! We still gotta put the card in one of their lockers before they come since they come late and the bus was a little late too.'' My eyes widened and we scurried off the bus. We wait for a little but don't see them and make a dash for their lockers racing. '' Whoever loses gets chocolate from the other!'' Yelled Chris. I slowed down on purpose knowing all too well I would have bought it either way for him instead of eating myself. Though the whole way I felt two pair of eyes following us and once I even heard a chuckle but thought of it as nothing since there were kids milling around. We finally got there Chris being the winner obviously and looked around us then slipped the card in giggling a little. Before we could do anything we were turned around by our other second worst bullies. They pushed us against the lockers and raised their fists. Chris and me closed our eyes waiting for the blow but it never came. I opened my eyes to see Drake and Cameron holding the bullies fists in the air with enraged faces. They pushed them away from us and started beating them up. While they were busy I looked beside me to see Chris crying. I didn't like him like this so my eyes watered. I crawled to him and cuddled into him while hugging him. I whispered, '' are they done, please tell me there done. This is the second time! Do you think they kill us like in the rumors? There scary like right now.'' Suddenly there was silence everywhere and Chris whispered '' yes, they are done and there looking at us its scary.'' I look up and see sadness, love, and still an a little anger but overall there is sadness and love. They came towards and knelt down besides us. I looked at Drake while he looked over my face and finally said '' I'm Drake and if you have any problems come to me ok and Cameron if you don't find me.'' I stare astounded and confused. I shook my head feeling like I should trust him and like he's bringing the old hyper me back. Feeling like this made me realize that I wanted to be hyper and active again so that's exactly what I was going to do. With that thought I squeaked out a '' thank you again'' He chuckled lowly and shook his head before saying '' how bout you tell me your name'' Well so much for my confident self since it went down the drain fear replacing it remembering how the first time we started getting bullied we were greeted like that. I looked down breathing increasing and pressing against the locker. I saw a hand coming towards me and flinched when it touched my shoulder. I scooted more back and felt arms going around me and I snuggled closer knowing it was Chris. But as soon I heard two growls and I started crying and yelling ''please make it stop please. No more growling, no more growling.'' As soon as I said that the growling stopped and all I could hear was Chris hushing me a lullaby. I finally calmed down enough and raised my head from where it was hidden in his shoulder. I looked around to my surprise I saw Cameron and Drake still there sad and angry but I didn't know why. I looked back at Chris and he looked at me happily but there was some worried in his eyes. I shook my head reassuring him and whispered '' why are they still hear isn't they gonna hit us or dislike me cause of the scene that I just made.'' I whimpered thinking of how I could've mast it up with the only boys that helped us. But he shook his head and smiled screaming '' there our new friends! Right?!'' They looked startled but then smiled and nodded. I looked at Drake and tilted my head asking '' REALLY?'' He smiled brightly at me and nodded. I quickly talked him in a hug surprising him. He tripped and fell with me on top of him with a loud thump. I glared at him making him whimper which was pretty funny and pouted. I hit him on the shoulder and pouted saying, '' hey your supposed to be stronger and you let us fall. Bad boy, Bad boy'' while hitting his shoulder. He looked at me amused and I looked up to see Chris leaning against Cameron laughing and Cam laughing silently. I shrugged and jumped back on my feet looking at the clock on the wall. I gasped realizing it was lunch time and Chris hadn't eaten any breakfast and might probably faint soon as well me but I was used to not eating so I was okay. I grabbed Chris' hand who was leaning against Cam and said, '' we gotta go get you lunch ok and didn't I promise to get you that chocolate.'' He looked at me with bright eyes and giggled before saying, '' ok lets go, lets go I want my chocolate'' I shook my head and said '' well lets go'' He turned towards Cam and gave him a hug whispering something which mad Cam smile and shake his head. I looked at Drake and waved finally dragging Chris away towards lunch. I heard two pair of feet running after us and then a hand on my shoulder which I could sense it was Drake from the tingles. I looked back and saw that Cam was also there waiting next to him. I looked at him curiously waiting for what he wanted. He cleared his throat and asked '' Can we sit with you.'' I was surprised why would he want to sit with us were only going to bring them down. I looked at him and whispered '' sure but only if it won't bring problems to us or you guys.'' I looked around hearing a growl but didn't see anything and kept walking with Chris and the bad boys behind us. Drake tapped my shoulder again and asked '' why would you be in trouble or us if you hung with us?'' I shrugged and said '' well we would be bullied and you your reputation.'' His eyes turned dark and he growled inhumanly. I was shaking but something told me to hug him and that what I did. I was shaking so bad but rubbing his back soothingly until I felt the rumbles from his chest stop. I was pulling back thinking he wanted to be alone but instead he pulled me back and rubbed my back soothingly saying '' shhh, shhh its ok I wasn't mad at you please don't be scared. Come on aren't we suppose to eat and I could buy you ice-cream'' I quickly forgot of everything else and started jumping up and down while in his arms making him jump with me too. I pulled apart and grabbed his hand looking around for Chris seeing him in the corner waiting for us with Cam holding hands too. He looked at me happily and amused. I know this is rare for me to act like this but I decided that I'm going to let the old me come back. I looked back at Drake and looked down at the floor remembering that we don't have money or I don't since I'm going to give mines to Chris. I guess I said this out loud because next thing I know is that my hand is being squeezed as for reassurance. I looked up at him and he smiled slightly saying '' well either way Ima be payin for us and Cam is clearly going to pay for Chris right?'' He said nodding towards Cam and Cam nodded his head in reassurance. I shook my head and was about to protest when Drake also shook his head and said '' nope don't even try I'm gonna by you food and that's it ok?'' I nodded my head quickly and he sighed before dragging me with Cam and Chris behind us. I heard Chris giggling and I knew it was cause of me. I turned around and yelled '' Shut up Chris! It not funny!'' That only made him burst out leaning on Cam. I grumbled and stomped all the way outside leaving them behind. I reached outside and waited since I didn't know which was his car or where we going. I felt someone hug me from behind and knew it was Chris by his small yet tall frame. I suddenly felt my shirt getting wet by the second and heard sobs coming from him. In less than a second I was turning around and engulfing him in a hug. He was shaking uncontrollably and I saw Cam coming towards us trying to take him away from me but instead I yelled at him '' Get the fuck away second bad boy. He's my baby and I'm trying to make him happy. DUMB Shoot!'' I heard a giggle and looked down to see that it was Chris and that he had stopped and was sniffling now. He looked up at me and asked sadly '' are you still mad at. Please don't be I was just playing around!''
''Hey, I wasn't mad with you ok. You know how I get with people doing stuff for me and then you making fun of me.'' He looked relieved then guilty and was about to apologize again but I shook my head and he knew to shut up. I stood on my tip toes and whispered, '' go to your man since it looks like he's about to grab you himself.'' He blushed and turned towards where the two were staring at us weirdly. While Chrissy was still embarrassed he distracted them by yelling '' come on lets go eat. I'm starving!'' Drake smiled and Cam shook his head as if to shake off thoughts. He grabbed Chris' hand and took him towards his car. I turned back around feeling somebody behind me. Drake was standing there watching profoundly while I lowered my gaze trying to hide my blush. I quickly turned around cooling off before my stomach rumbled and my blush came back but this time I could play it off as embarrassed and not because of him. I turned towards him hearing him chuckle lowly. I pouted and hit him on his arm grumbling under my breath. Finally i asked where his car was and he smirked. This couldn't be good if he was smirking clearly. I felt my self being dragged where I guess was his car but instead I saw a beautiful motorcycle. I stared at it wide eyed. It was beautiful but very dangerous. I shook my head repeatedly while backing away. I will not die on that thing. I looked at drake with wide eyes silently asking begging that I didn't have to go on that. He nodded his head as if understanding and killing my dream of not going on that. He took two helmets out of the back seat and gave me the smaller one. I put it on and he put his on. He was about to get on when I stopped him by the shoulder and quickly pulled back feeling the sparks. I gave him my puppy dog eyes and pouty lips and his eyes darkened. I quickly thought he was mad at me and looked down while quietly asking, '' can I sit in front of you instead of in back pleaseee?'' He shook his head while chuckling silently before saying ''sure.'' I stretched my arms towards him silently asking if he could lift me up. Though he didn't get it because he tilted his head curiously seeing what I wanted. I sighed already feeling my cheeks warm up while I whispered '' can you lift me up and put me on the seat?'' I slowly lifted my head to see that he was smiling brightly while he quickly nodded. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist and arms around his neck. He seemed to pull me closer to him but I was probably just imagining it. I felt myself being put down and I closed my eyes tightly. He climbed behind me wrapping his hands around my waist. I unintentionally flinched thinking of what he is capable of and my bullies. I felt him tighten his arms around me. I looked at the seat now being really interested. But not even a second later two fingers were lifting my chin up so I could see those beautiful eyes of his. I instantly regretted it because there was so much hurt and anger in his eyes. Without thinking it I hugged him by the waist putting my head on his chest. I felt him tense. Thinking he didn't want me hugging him I quickly pushed away. I looked at him and with the little courage I had asked him ''please don't be sad or mad?'' He shook his head his eyes softening a little and he hugged me back to him. I was suddenly frozen but after a few seconds I hugged him back thinking he needed some friendly hug and because I felt safe and warm in his arms. I felt little shocks but they were probably me just imaging things. Finally he whispered gently '' I will never let those ass...'' I cut him off by yelling '' asswippies'' He looked at me confused and amusedly before asking ''what?'' I looked up at him shyly saying '' I don't like swearing so please don't say it ok?'' He nodded smiling and continued his sentence mimicking me '' anyways before you interrupted me like I was saying, I will never let those asswippies hurt you or do anything to you ok?'' I was surprised by what he said '' so you really care for me?'' He looked upset that I asked but I squeezed his waist and he nodded. I squealed loudly before hugging him more closely and kissing his cheek. He looked shocked but I didn't care and started rambling things '' Wait so that means we could best of bests friends right? Because Chris he's also my best friend but he's more of like a brother and son to me so yeah can you be my bestest friend?'' He chuckled loudly before saying ''yes'' I also heard him mumble something on the lines of '' for now'' but I just let it slide. I turned back on the seat leaning against his chest and looked up at him saying '' HURRY UP! I'm starving and you must be too plus I don't want to be on this death trap for another second!'' He looked at me chuckling silently before turning on the motorcycle making it roar to life.
( At the restaurant)
(Paola POV)
I quickly hoped of the motorcycle standing to the side waiting for Drake to finish getting off. He was grumbling something under his breath while looking at me. I raised an eyebrow asking with sass '' and what is that did you say?'' He quickly shook his head putting his hands up in a sign of surrender before grumbling out '' I was supposed to help you off but you didn't wait.'' aww he wanted to be a gentle man and awesome friend. I smiled and asked innocently '' do you know what you could do for me now.'' He shook his head with his eyes sparkling slightly. I jumped on his back yelling '' PIGGYBACK RIDE!'' I was sliding down his back so I quickly wrapped my legs and arms around him while he put his hands under my thighs but not inappropriately. I whispered in his ear '' move" i felt him shiver and thought he was cold and rubbed his arms asking "are you cold cuase if you are then get in the restaurant"
(In the restaurant)
When we had gotten in he dropped me and sat next to me. While Chris and cam were across from us. Me and Chris looked at each other and knew what we had to do. I turned towards Drake and smiled then was off towards the bathroom with Chris. We stopped in front of the bathroom and counted in to 3 then squealed and scream and then fell on the floor laughing. That was until the door was knocked down and two angry boys appeared...
Drake and cam were there fuming and standing protectively looking around. They stopped looking around when they found us on the floor laughing. They had a look of relief and love worrying look but then it turned back to anger. I got scared an hid behind Chris. I looked over his shoulder to hear Drake and cam yell " what were you thinking you scared us" Chris tensed and hugged me while wiping the tears that I hadn't notices ping down my cheeks. I was shaking while Chris was rocking me bak and forth and screamed back " who do you think you are screaming at us haven't you notice that you made Pao cry and were sorry for scaring you or whatever!" They looked surprised angry and then guilty and sad. I burried my head in Chris' neck and mumbled "let's go" he nodded and stood up carrying me like a baby. I giggled and my stomach grumbled with hunger. I whimpered holding onto my stomach but shook it off and snuggled back into Chris forgetting Drake and Cam were there. I was about to fall asleep when I heard someone clear their throat. I looked up and saw that it was Drake so I quickly hid my face back in Chris neck. "Well were really really sorry but do you still want to eat?" Drake asked. Still hidden I shook my head against Chris's shoulder. He rubbed my back knowing what I meant and shook his head " No thanks I think it's late and pao would like to sleep plus we're not that hungry." I raised my head a little to see cam and Drake with sad and guilty eyes. He nodded looking at me for a second with pleading eyes but I just I hid back in Chris shoulder. Though I new I had forgiven him already though I was still shaken up to say anything. Cam quickly said " well I'll take you guys back to your house and were really sorry." I felt dizzy and then I gave in to the darkness into deep sleep.
(Drake pov)
I messed really bad! I can't believe I did that, I screamed at her with my alpha voice. How could I? My wolf was whimpering while pacing around in my head thinking we lost our chance with her. I shook my head, I had to do something anything. I knew the exact thing I would do but first I would buy them food and their favorite treat saying sorry and explaining we were worried.
