It's been 40 days since you pulled me from my own darkness. I thought you would have left by now. I thought you would tire of being by my side, or worse, you would think I no longer need you. Because I do, need you. I would never admit that to anyone, least of all you. This need, it makes me feel.. vulnerable, weak. While in isolation, I was hurting, yes, but at least living in darkness for so long meant I had forgotten the sweet kiss of sunlight. And you.. you are so bright, Yae.
