Before You Go (formerly known as 'Every Place Between') is a slice-of-life, slow-burn LGBTQ romance/drama which explores mature themes which some readers may find triggering. This includes references and depictions of child abuse, neglect, parentification, narcissism, death, grief, sexual violence and both physical and emotional abuse. This will be the only trigger warning in the book.
This book is a prequel to Heaven and Back but it may be read as a standalone novel as it follows a different timeline, with the main character being Nico instead of Audrielle. Both books can be read at the same time, but be minded Heaven and Back is more of mystery/thriller with very little romance, meanwhile Before You Go has a strong romantic subplot.
