Something that Bonestine will learn when his time as king comes.

The sun rises closer to its noon peak and people are already out and about running errands or working hard. In a small dark red brick home one of its occupants emerged from the shade drawn dark room. His black polished claws scratched the dark gray and black quills while the other scratched the black chest fur. Tired ruby eyes watched as his finger extended to press a small button on a black machine that soon hissed as it heats up. His feet dragged his body to the large dark silver box and opens one of the double doors and grabs a reddish orange sphere before closing the door. He brings the sphere up to his lips on the fair tan muzzle and opens his mouth exposing two fangs that penetrate the skin and purplish red oozed out before being sucked back and the sphere starts to shrink. A small gasp leaves his lips as he releases the now flat fruit. He licks his lips and tosses the carcass into the trash before he walks to the machine and pours the hot dark liquid into two mugs before adding sugar. He takes the mugs back to the darkened room where the other occupant slept. He smiled as he admire the sleeping light blue and red female echidna in a black off the shoulder shirt and coffin pattern underwear. "God I'm a lucky man" he thought as he walked up and set her mug down on the nightstand. A small sleepy moan comes from her as she opened her eyes revealing two stunning purple gems. "Good morning Z" he smiled and she smiled. "Morning bones" she said happily. "Made you your favorite honey lavender tea" he said and kisses her forehead. "You're so good to me" she smiled and sat up then kissed him. "So are you" he replied and sips his tea. "So we still meeting our parents for lunch?" She asked as he sat down. "Yeah we gotta get up and ready here in a bit" Bonestine said. "Ok well I'm going to go ahead and hop into the shower because you know how long it takes for my hair to dry with a blow dryer" she said as she sets down her mug before getting out of bed and walks to the bathroom. Bonestine admires her as she walks then disappears into the bathroom. "I can't wait to ask you to marry me in a few months"

Knuckles picks up his water as Shadow checks his watch. "Where the fuck are our children?" Katherine said not too happy with her and knuckle's daughter. "Zapella just texted through Bonestine's phone saying they're pulling up now" Rouge said. "I wonder what made those two late" Knuckles said. "Beats me" Shadow said shaking his head. "So sorry we're late guys" they turn seeing the two and Shadow and Knuckles start chuckling. "I take back what I said. That's why" knuckles said and the two laugh. "What's so funny?" Zapella asked confused. "Have a little grown up fun before coming here?" Rouge smirked and the two looked at each other and gasp. "Go on a clean yourselves up" Katherine said smiling holding g her laugh. The two blushed and walked to the restroom.
Zapella looks in the mirror seeing her hair a slight mess and her lipstick was smudged with bonestines lip mark on her neck that had her lipstick on it. "Wow.... That's embarrassing" she said to herself.
Bonestine sees his quills a mess with zapella's lipstick on his lips, neck, and shirt collar. "Fuuuuuuck that's embarrassing....."

Bonestine and Zapella walk back still embarrassed but were surprised seeing that they were joined by another guest. "Uncle Vladimir?" Bonestine said to the older dark grey and red hedgehog. "Hello my dear nephew and zapella." He smiled as his older green eyes shine. "I didn't know you were joining us today" he said as they sat down. "Yes I'm here on behalf of your uncle Darius." he said. "About what?" Zapella asked. "Well as you know bonestine is turning 21 next week and there will be a ball held for him at the castle of Dracul." Vladimir said. "But uncle Vlad I don't wa—" "Well Bonestine its mandatory. You are a member of the royal vampire family but mostly because you are the future king" Shadow said. "But dad" "No buts Bonestine. We let it slide for your 16th and 18th. Now with your agreement with your uncles, parliament and I that you will resume the throne as the rightful king when you are 150 years old." Shadow said sternly and Bonestine looks down. "Your father is right. It is part of the custom of being apart of this. Your father had his 21st, as did your uncle Darius and your uncle scourge when being introduced as adult princes but only Darius was chosen and introduced as the next king. I will also add that zapella will also be introduced as your queen during this ball as well." Vladimir explained and Bonestine looked up. "Wait what?" Zapella said taken back. Great Uncle Vladimir...We aren't even engaged yet why would sh—" "She is your link therefore she will automatically be introduced as queen by law that your grandfather had set." Vladimir said. "Ok..." bonestine said now getting nervous about this. "Very good now then I will call Darius have him prepared rooms for you all and your friends and family to joi—" "Actually uncle Vlad it'll just be the six of us. Meadow is away on a trip with Britney. I believe ivy and ash are out of town visiting her great aunt May with her sister and Emma and Zane are across the country for the lunch of the clothing line inspired by our band her and Blaze design for our Bands brand to expand more." Zapella explained. "Plus Rutan and Claire are out of town for a convention, Chris is getting ready for exams, and Rikilee and Issac are going on an early Valentine's Day trip together." Katherine chimed in. "Very well then" Vladmir smiled.
