Abnormal Demon Physiology: Tanjirō has several unique traits that set him apart from all other demons. Most notably, Tanjirō can continuously restore his power without consuming any human blood like any other demon would need to do. Instead, he recovers his strength through sleep alone. Moreover, Tanjirō has an extraordinary growth rate, as shown multiple times when he grows stronger without any training or consuming humans.

Advanced Demon Form: Tanjirō has the ability to enter a berserk state where he becomes more demonic in appearance, transforming into a teenage version of himself with two horns protruding from his head. Tanjirō's physical capabilities in this state are drastically increased.

Skilled Hand-to-hand Combat: Despite having no known fighting experience prior to becoming a demon, Tanjirō is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant. His fighting style mainly revolves around the use of his powerful legs to deliver devastating blows and his sharp nails.
