Once a little birdie dreamed to fly high, The world announced her the worst, oh, but why?
He defended her with unwavering trust,
She tried to soar with his support robust.

He didn’t hesitate to escort her flight, But she harbored dark past, hidden from sight.
He tried hard to crack the stone, to understand,
But she grew weak, didn’t want to expand.

Every now and then, he raised a question, a thought,
But she resisted, what she had always fought.
He attempted to open the door she kept closed,
She warned him, "Don’t venture there," she disclosed.

Resulting, perhaps, in a drift, in despair,
Their journey together, caught in a snare.
