4 months later on floor 10 Kuro Akari and Arashi are traveling through the woods looking to get some extra training in

(Akari)
Hey Kuro so did you see that flier in town about the tournament that's going to be happening next week

(Arashi)
Oh yea I saw that apparently there's also going to be a big reward for the winner

(Kuro)
So what about it

(Akari)
Well I was wondering if maybe we'd join, sign ups end tomorrow night

(Kuro)
I don't know if it were up to me I'd just focus on completing this floor but if that's what y'all want to do go ahead

(Arashi)
Come on man if you were in the tournament you'd win it for sure well maybe not cause there's one person you wouldn't beat

(Kuro)
And who would that be

(Arashi)
Me of course

(Arashi smirks)

(Akari)
Idk I think Kuro is the strongest player in the game or at least when it comes to tactics and precision plus with his speed he's almost unstoppable

(Arashi)
Yea yea you know Kuro if we both participated in the tournament and we had to fight each other it would be a good way to see how far we've come

(Kuro stays silent looking a bit down)

(Akari)
You ok Kuro

(Kuro)
Yea I'm fine let's head back it's getting late and we haven't found any monsters for awhile

(Akari starts to worry about Kuro)

(Arashi)
Hey don't worry about him he'll be fine

(Akari)

(They return to town and call it a day, a week later)

(Announcer)
Welcome to the first ever floor tournament today we'll be watching competitors compete against each other to make it to the final round and win a grand prize of 100,000 gold

(Crowd gets riled up cheering)

(Announcer)
Alright let's get started with the first match

(Arashi and Akari waiting for Arashi to be called for his match)

(Akari)
Hey Arashi have you seen Kuro today

(Arashi)
No I haven't he was already gone when I got up this morning

(Announcer calls the first competitors)

(Arashi)
Alright I guess I'm up see ya

(Akari)
Good luck

(Akari leaves and goes to watch in the stands Arashi and his competitor are going head to head but Arashi pulls a move and takes the guy out in one fell swoop)

(Announcer)
And the winner is Arashi what a great start to the tournament

(Both competitors leave the arena and the next few rounds were completed and it's now time for the final match of the first round)

(Announcer)
Alright we've seen some crazy stuff today but now it's time for the final round of today

(In the stands)

(Akari)
I wonder where Kuro is I still haven't seen or heard from him

(Arashi)
Me either hope he's ok

(Announcer calls the last competitors)

(Announcer)
And for his opponent, Kuro!

(Both Akari and Arashi)
WHAT!

(Kuro walks out and the crowd cheers)

(Akari)
When did he enter?

(Arashi)
I have no idea he must have signed up at the last minute

(Kuro gets ready waiting for the start)

(Announcer)
Start!

(As the other opponent goes for a strike Kuro leaps forward draws his sword and has the opponent in trouble with his sword to his throat and unable to move)

(Announcer)
And the winner is Kuro

(Everyone left in shock start cheering)

(Akari)
Woah

(Arashi)
That was awesome

(Akari)
Yea

(Kuro and the other competitor leave the arena and Akari and Arashi go to meet Kuro)

(Arashi)
Kuro that was so cool

(Akari)
I thought you weren't going to compete

(Kuro)
I didn't think I would either

(Akari)
Why did you then

(Arashi)
Ain't it obvious he wanted to fight me in a fight

(Kuro)
No I did it to take something off my mind

(Akari and Arashi look at Kuro with confusion as Kuro leaves)

(Arashi)
