5:WHAT HAPPENED THAT DAY....

I ran faster as the presence of the strong demon was getting on my nerves. This must be the demon I've been searching for. The scent leaded me to a mansion right in the middle of the town. This is not good. I opened the door in the balcony, only to see a horrifying view in front of me.

A female demon with black hair and revealing clothes was standing in front of me, devouring a woman. It was in a different way I'd never seen. She had strips coming out from her and, one of which had the woman inside being devoured. Damn it! If only I reached a little earlier.

The demon looked at me with evil eyes and a sarcastic smile. The eyes labeled Uppermoon 6.... I must be careful.
"So a slayer came to her rescue.... Too bad, I already devoured her, and I shall do the same with yo--", the demon paused for a while, then gave the most evil laugh I've ever heard.

" Hahahaha! A Hashira? I'm really lucky today! I didn't even realised with how tiny and weak you looked. Anyways, I'm gonna give your head as a gift to Lord Muzan today......

Ugh! This demon is so full of herself. In return, I gave back a sarcastic smile and answered, " I kinda like your confidence, but the one losing their head today is not me, but you."

Her smiling face turned into an angered one as she charged her strips towards me, which I easily dodged. The thing bothering me was that we were in the middle of the town, risking everyone's life. I decided to drive us away from the town and then kill her, and as expected, she kept following me as I ran away from her.

" Where are you going stupid Hashira?!", she kept saying while I kept running away from her, trying to contain my anger.

As we reached the outskirts, I turned back and charged towards. She dodged with a shocking face, not able to understand my motive for bringing her here. I couldn't care less. The fact was she didn't seem strong enough to be an Uppermoon, and she rather had realised that she couldn't defeat me.

"Enough of this! You are so annoying. I hate people like you, I will end you here!", she said in an irritated way, while her hair colour changed from black to white. It didn't bother me much as I surged towards her with my full speed. Panick striked over her face when she wasn't able to stop me, while I kept charging towards her, slashing all the attacks she striked at me.

" Insect breathing, third form.", in a flash of seconds I filled her body with poision, while she fell back to the ground, her eyes wide open.

"H-how dare you do this to me?!" , she shouted almost crying, giving me a headache.

"That's what you deserve. You've taken so many lives, and they are now all avenged."
I smiled back at her.

"I hate it! I hate this! Help me, Oni-chan!"
She shouted as a demon appeared from the back of her body. The demon slashed his blade towards me, so fast that I almost didn't even notice. I moved back and saw another demon, wiping the other demon's tears. His eyes also labelled Uppermoon 6.

" It's alright, I'm here now don't cry, it will spoil your beautiful face, Daki.", the demon told her.

"It's the hashira! She kept bullying and beating me until I was all poisioned.", Daki replied.

The demon glared at me as he stood up. " A hashira.... How dare you try to hurt my beautiful sister?"

The demon surged towards me to attack. He was so fast that I escaped his attack from a distance of an inch. The demon kept attacking me and I kept defending myself. As my energy was draining, it was getting hard for me to keep up with his speed. While I was getting more exhausted and injured from his attack, the injuries I gave him were getting healed in a split of second and somehow my poision was not working on him.

Our match went for 3 hours, while he was still ready to go and my body was completely bruised with cuts and wounds. I knew I couldn't give up or this would be the end for me. But it all ended as he attacked me and I fell off a cliff. I could see the smile on his face as I was falling. That bastard............

I don't remember what happened after that but when I woke up, I found myself in Lady Tamayo's home. Guilt filled me when I realised how I wasn't able to complete the mission and had been in coma for 2 months.......

Tamayo-san tried to comfort me and I was more than thankful to her for saving my life. She then told me that a slayer would come to take me back. As much as I didn't want to agree, I knew I was in no condition to go back alone.

I kept resting there for a few days, when one day while sleeping, I felt a warmth in my hand, the warmth that gave me comfort and easiness. That's when I heard someone calling my name Shinobu.
I opened my eyes and saw Giyuu holding my hands.

Tomioka-san?", I said while looking into his eyes, which were in grief.

" K-kocho...", he responded while moving my hand towards his head, grabbing it with both of his hands. Then the most unexpected thing happened. He started crying. I couldn't believe it at that moment but it made my heart sank to see him like that. I brought my other hand towards his cheeks to wipe his tears and the way he was looking at me was given me butterflies.

We both looked into each other eyes as I held his face with both of my hands. I had to admit this, he looked so handsome in the moonlight that I almost blushed. Tears kept falling from his eyes........

" It's all right, I'm all right," I said while smiling at him, the smile which came from the bottom of my heart, only for him.

He moved towards me for a hug from which I was taken aback, but I didn't hate it. The warmth I felt from him eased my pain. These feelings I've never felt before were really confusing me. At that time, it felt like the time had stopped, it was only me and him at the moment.
