"N-No homo..by the way.." Scott says.

Wallace rolls his eyes.

"Want more?" He asks.

"U-Uh..if you give it to me normally.." Scott sighs.

Wallace sighs and takes another sip.

"Then you don't get any." He shrugs.

"Fine." Scott sighs.

Scott looks over and thinks about Ramona.

It doesn't count as cheating if they've only kissed a few times, right?

And it shouldn't count because it's just friendly, right?

They're just friends.

Right?

The following Saturday, 03:56

Wallace lies in bed, thinking about Scott.

Scott is once again..at Ramona's.

Wallace looks back over where Scott would be lying right now.

It's empty.

He feels tears in his eyes.

Every time he did anything to try to hint to Scott, he wouldn't care.

He just wanted to tell Scott 4 words.

"I love you, Scott."

But he couldn't.

It would be too risky.

Saturday, 09:34

It's winter break. He would have taken this as a good thing, not having work until the day after New Year's, but the problem was..neither did Ramona.

Christmas is in 2 days.

But there was a chance Scott wouldn't even be there for him on Christmas Day.

He cooks bacon and thinks about the possibility of Scott not being there.

ring

Wallace sighs and walks over to the phone.

"Hey." He mutters.

"Hey!!" Stacey says.

"What do you want?.." Wallace groans.

"Uh, okay, what's with the mean voice?" Stacey says. "And I'm just telling you..Lucas is totally hot today."

"I don't care." Wallace says.

"Why are you so mean lately?" Stacey frowns.

"I don't want to talk about it." Wallace says.

"Your secret is safe with me. Julie's like, totally sick today so she's at home. Lucas can't hear you, and probably doesn't care." Stacey says.

"It's..It's not that. I don't want to tell you." Wallace sighs.

"What?!" Stacey says. "Why? Did you steal another one of my boyfriends?!"

"No..But..Sort of. Not your boyfriend..and he's not stolen yet.." Wallace groans.

"Who?! Why can't you tell me?" Stacey cries. "I wanna know!"

"You don't wanna know. Trust me." Wallace says.

"Yes! I do!" She says.

"I'm not telling you. Bye!" He says.

"No! Please! I'll do anything!" Stacey begs.

"Anything?" He asks. "Like..help me get with him?"

"It depends who it is." She groans.

"Then no. It has to be a yes." Wallace says, hanging up.

He walks back to the kitchen, and notices his bacon is burnt.

"Shit." He mumbles.

Stacey calls him back twice but he doesn't answer.

He wants to tell her..but she can't know. He'll definitely tell Scott.

That would be her way of 'helping' him.

Saturday, 22:27

Wallace watches a Lucas Lee movie like usual. This is probably his fifth time watching the same one.

All he can do is sit there bored. Scott is still at Ramona's.

There's no hope he's coming back tonight. It's way too late for that.

He sighs and turns off the movie.

He looks up.

Wallace can only think about Scott.

He wishes he was there for him.

Why was it so hard to tell Scott 4 simple words?

Why can't he just tell him..

"I love you, Scott."

But it's impossible.

Even though they've been best friends since college..

It's too hard to tell him those words.

It would ruin everything for Scott.

The girl of his dreams.

The girl of his dreams.

Sunday, 04:38

Wallace wakes in the middle of the night for no reason.

He just lays there.

It's now Christmas Eve.

Scott still isn't home.

For some reason, he can't fall asleep.

at ramona's..

Scott glances over at the clock. He also woke for no reason.

It reads "04 : 43".

Scott sighs and looks over at Ramona, who is on her phone.

He can barely see.

"Mm..Why is it..so..bright.." He groans.

Ramona gasps at his voice and turns the screen off.

Surprised, she says "N-No reason."

"Oh..Okay.." He mumbles. He doesn't understand anything really. "Good night..mmh..love you.."

"N-Night." She says, holding the phone tightly.

She looks over at Scott again. He's definitely asleep by now.

"S-Scott?" She whispers.

He doesn't respond.

She opens her phone again.

She starts texting again.

Scott opens one eye.
