Amari's POV:

Amari: Megan... Megan?

Megan: Yes?

Amari: Are you okay? You've been tossing and turning in your sleep.

Megan: It's just that I've been having a hard time sleeping lately.

Amari: Do you want to talk about it?

Megan: It's just that my mom has been weighing heavily on my spirit, and I feel like I'm disappointing her.

Amari: Meg, I doubt that. You are beautiful and successful. They even have you in the conversation for the top female rap artists, so I'd say you're doing great. Now, would you like to go back to sleep, beautiful stallion?

Megan: I would, and Amari?

Amari: Yes?

Megan: I hope you know I'm not letting you go.

Amari: I figured.

Ami POV:

Ami wakes up to the sound of the smoke detector and rushes downstairs.

Jayda: Oh, shoot.

Where's your salt?

Jayda: It's up top.

Ami sprinkles salt on the stove eye, and it goes out.

You were trying to do some hibachi stuff in here.

Jayda: Shut up, I was trying to cook you some breakfast.

You didn't have to.

Jayda: I felt like I did after the way you treated me last night. Go sit down, I'll make you a plate, most of it is done.

Chris's POV:

Feeling restless, Chris decides to take a stroll through the city and ends up at a cozy bookstore. As she browses through the shelves, she spots the up-and-coming actress and singer Halle Bailey sitting in a corner, engrossed in a book.

Intrigued, Chris gathers her courage and approaches her.

Chris: Excuse me, Halle? I'm a big fan of your work.

Halle looks up with a bright smile and welcomes her.
