Ameilla POV
I woke up to another bright sunny day thank you Lord for making this day. I get up and stretch then I head to go brush my teeth. I hopped in the shower and put on my music getting into my soft girl era.
"Hmm... maybe this one or.... This ugh... forget it I'm going with something cute and comfortable" Ameilla said out loud while looking into the full body mirror
Ameilla is a curvy, bodacious woman with all her curves in all the right places. But never seem to find the confidence that every other curvy woman has.
Just as Ameilla is about to leave the house she receives an unexpected phone call from a distant cousin whom she hasn't spoken to in almost 10 years.

"Aye, cuzzo it's Jaydin..uhm... look I know we haven't talked in a while but grandma done passed on...(sniffles)
"Wait!?... what!?... what do you mean grandma passed... wait just wait..."
"Cuz, I know it's hard but we gotta be strong for her you know what I'm saying for real she been here for us we gotta be there for her... ok"
"When is grandma funeral so I can take off?"
"I'm going to text it to you"
"Ok, love cuz"
"Love cuz"
*phone conversation ended*
Before Ameilla could even leave the house she had to sit down and cry, process, and try to understand everything about what just happened. But how could you try to briefly be okay continue about your day or life when someone who gave you purpose is now with the Lord.
Ameilla decides today isn't a great day to go in for work so she decided that it is most appropriate for her to take this day to self reflect and thank God for giving her grandma for the time He did.
I am broken to pieces when will I be able to pick those pieces back up
