Lorraine Goode was blessed with a perfect family. She lived in Sunnyvale, a quiet town with her wealthy father, who never failed to give her everything she ever wanted. She had the money, the status and was a good student.
Deena Johnson was the exact opposite. She was born in Shadyside, the "murder town", with her drunk dad and brother. Every day she had to take care of the house and take care of her father when he was drunk.
When they met, they were both in a drunken state, but they felt themselves irresistibly drawn to each other. But they were two girls who were raised in different backgrounds and their relationship would never be accepted in public, especially in the 90s. One secret night was all they could get.
Or maybe not.
Two months after they met, Lorraine and Deena are forced to be in the same place when a strange accident brings an old curse back and Lorraine and Deena's group of friends have to fight for their lives while being chased by a dead witch with a thirst for revenge against Shadyside.
