Imagine: It's your birthday. (Happy Late Birthday, @AnnaliseTorres ! Sorry it's late!)

I didn't think birthdays were a big deal, honestly. If it was up to me, I wouldn't even celebrate it. But when Dean Winchester is your boyfriend, god forbid you don't celebrate it.

The day started out with Dean singing 'Happy Birthday' obnoxiously loud, just to wake me up.

"Seriously?" I grumbled, pulling my pillow over my head.

"Get up!" Dean shook me, "It's your birthday, and we're damn well going to celebrate it!"

"I don't want to."

"Oh, come on, [Y/N]! We deserve a break," he yanked the pillow out of my grasp and hit me in the back.

"Did you just do that?" I sat up, narrowing my eyes at the older Winchester.

"Yes I did," he smirked, "What are you gonna do about it?"

"This!" I grabbed his pillow and threw it at him, but he dodged it, making me huff.

"Better luck next time!"

After I had gotten dressed, Dean eagerly lead me to his Impala. He even opened the door for me.

"You're more excited about my birthday than I am," I chuckled as he closed the door and walked to his side.

"Yes I am," he replied, starting the engine and shifting gears, "But I'm going to fix your crappy mood about birthdays."

"Good luck."

"I don't need it," he glanced at me as he drove down the highway, heading god knows where.

"Sure," I smiled softly. It was sweet that he was making an effort to make me happy.

"I love you, [Y/N]," his gaze returned to the road as one of his hands enclosed mine, "I just want to you happy."

"I love you too, Dean," I squeezed his hand.

A smile played at his lips the rest of the way to our destination. We had been in Nebraska on a small case involving a ghost. It had been easy, which was kinda boring. Sam had stayed behind at Bobby's for some odd reason. He was making sure Bobby was safe. Whatever that meant. Bobby could handle his own.

"Where are we going?" I finally asked, turning down his music, which earned me an annoyed glance.

"It's a surprise, babe," he moved to turn his music back up.

"Is it a case?" I moved his hand away.

"No," he moved my hand away.

"Then what is it?"

"[Y/N], I said it was a surprise. That's all the info you're getting."

I huffed and sat back in the leather seat.

"Now don't go poutin'," he nudged my leg, "It's a good surprise."

"Yeah, yeah."

We suddenly came to a stop and I looked outside.

"We're at Bobby's," I announced bluntly. "Are we picking up Sam?"

"Sure," he pulled the keys from the ignition and stepped out of the car. Within a moment he was opening my door and helping me out. "Close your eyes."

"What?"

"Close your eyes," he repeated.

No wanting to argue, I did as told. I felt him wrapped his arms around me as he lead me forward.

"What's going on?" I asked as we stepped into the house of Bobby Singer. The only reason I knew that was because the smell of alcohol was a bit overwhelming, and the air was cold. For some reason, Bobby liked his house to be freezing. "I swear, if someone jumps out and yells-"

"Surprise!" a group of voices rang through the air.

Dean uncovered my eyes and I'll admit, I got a bit teary eyed when I saw Sam, Bobby, and Castiel, standing before me, next to a table with a rather large birthday cake on it.

"Guys..." I let out an airy laughed and leaned into Dean, "This is...amazing."

Sam smiled, "Glad you like it, [Y/N]. It was Dean's idea. I honestly didn't think it would work."

"I told you so, Sammy," Dean smirked, making me elbow him.

"Happy birthday, [Y/N]," Bobby pulled me into a hug, and I immediately returned it. Bobby was like a father to me and the Winchesters.

"Thanks, Bobby," I kissed his cheek.

"Gettin' old," he teased.

"Clam it, old man," I laughed, making him smile.

Cas reached out to hug me next, "I hear today is quite an important day, or so Dean said."

"It's not important at all," I chuckled, hugging the angel, "It's just another day."

"Oh."

"She's lying, Cas," Dean called, opening a beer, "It's the most important day of the year."

"Oh."

"He's lying," I shook my head.

He frowned, "I am confused. Is it, or is it not an important day?"

"Yes!" Sam, Dean, and Bobby replied before I could even open my mouth.

Cas nodded, "Okay. Got it."

"Today was...okay," I smiled, watching Dean pull off his grey shirt.

"Oh, it was more than okay," he said simply.

"Okay, yeah it was," I bit my lip, trying to be discreet as I looked over him.

"Enjoy birthdays now?"

"Just might..." I met his gaze, "Though, I don't recall getting a present from you."

"That's because mine's a bit more personal than the others," he walked up and put his arms around my waist.

"Is that right?" my arms wrapped his neck and I pulled his head down for a short kiss. I had found out how to wind Dean up months ago.

"Oh yes," a playful smirk played at his lips, but his eyes remained closed. Alas, he had figured out how to wind me up months ago as well.

"Well, if you ask me to unwrap you, I swear, I'll be laughing to hard to do anything," I chuckled, and he laughed softly as well.

"There goes that plan," he joked, trailing his hands down my sides.

I held back a shiver, "Thank you...for today..."

"You're welcome, baby," he said softly before pressing our lips together for a passionate kiss.
