Violet's pov
I like the peaceful atmosphere around here i seen some humans walk by so i know i'm not far from a city i might get a job and actually be able to live without stressing about other people
I followed some of these humans back and watched as a bunch of cars passed me I like the noise of everyone its been awhile since i heard so much noise
After roaming around for a bit i seem a help wanted sign i was grateful for my Bubba dex for teaching me how to read while in my personal prison sometimes i like to think that im missed by the guys but than I remember i was only a chapter in their lives and them in mine but i do love that chapter
I walked up one of the workers and asked if i could apply and got a interview straight on the spot
While i was talking with the lady whose name was susan one of her workers walked in and said she quit
I watched susan huff than look at me again "Violet do you think you could start today" I nodded yes and she gave me the uniform
(A few hours later)
Alot of people gave me money saying i was really sweet i didn't think so but i was thankful I could but some clothing with this and maybe some wood to build a actual house susan came up to me and told me me i could leave but be there at 6am tomorrow which i nodded and left
I went to the mall and wa able to by 3 pairs of jeans 2 bras and 4 sweaters i didn't have a card so i bought a wallet and walked towards a building to register for a card but when they asked for a address i didn't have one so i left without a card but that was fine to me
(A few months later sorry for the time skip)
Working at the cafe and saving all my money i was able to afford a nice apartment in the city i found out i was in a place called california but besides that i loved my little home
I had to lie about my age to get it i couldn't just write that i was 116 so i wrote that i was 26 i felt like it was a mature womans age
A few guys from work had asked to be my boyfriend but i decline i didn't want to deal with men that were not related to me i couldn't handle it they stressed me and gave me anxiety i loved my job though everyone that i met in there was nice and very welcoming to me
I knew that i could stay here for a while the supernatural kind didn't like to mingle with humans so the best place for me to hide was with them i often went back to the forest so i could hunt to get blood but i went right back to my apartment afterwards
