{ALEJANDRO POV}

"Alejandro?" He said. "ALEJANDRO!! DUDE IT'S BEEN SO LONG! HOW HAVE YOU BEEN?!" *he said as he hugged me by surprise, it was pretty tight. "Uh.. I've been good.. How about you amigo?" I said as he stopped hugging me and sat down. "It's been great! So you're Maria's dad?" He looks at me with the same grin. "WOW! Are you and heather married now or something?" As he said that my smile fades. "I.. About that.. " I sat down at the table where he was sitting in and told him the truth. "I'm not with Heather anymore.. I mean we are married. But that didn't last long, it only lasted a few months until we got a divorced.." He looked concern. "Oh.. I'm sorry to hear dude! I hope you're okay.."."I'm fine.. It's just been lonely for awhile, but it's not as boring as being a dad." I said a smile, wait.. I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT LINDSAY. "wait, are you still with Lindsay?" I asked. "No.. But we still live together! Just because we didn't want to be alone!" he said we a smile. A tiny hand pulled my sleeves. I looked at maria. "¿Yes estimado?" I said as I picked her up and put her on my lap. "Papá, ¿puedo traerme ese pastel de zanahoria con forma de gatito?" She said pointing to the cake, the cake looks pretty cute, it's pretty small too. It's perfect for Maria. "Sure! But don"t get messy with it okay?"she nods and takes the cake.
