it's my birthday today and i wish you were here with me. i remember for my last birthday, you got me a necklace. i'm still wearing it right now. you said it was a very special necklace and that i should keep it safe at all times. i will for you. this birthday, i have no one to celebrate with. it's sad. i wish you were here. you would know how to cheer me up. you would spoil me with kisses, make me breakfast and then you would give me a gift, even after i insisted you didn't need to get me anything. but that can't happen because you're not here.
