chapter 2 ~ What was that?

A new day, a new worry, with nowhere to stay adam got a little anxious and his wings fluttered.

The reason for all this was because of him wanting to go to the Hazbin Hotel. He wanted to get redeemed so badly. At this point he would not care to see the faces of the people he hurt, but he also would, it's been 2 days and he still couldn't build up the courage to walk up to the hotel and ask to stay.

But he really had to, so he made his way to that hotel, first getting lost from exploring hell. Even though the details to take in weren't as good as heavens, he wasn't bored. So he continued on his walk, finally reaching the path up the hill to the hotel.

"Fuck me I guess.." He complained as he started walking up the hill. Making up to the door, he struggled but finally knocked on the door. Charlie answers the door, taking a couple of seconds until realizing it's adam.

"Oh! Hello adam.. uh- what are you doing here..?" Charlie says in a confused but cheerful tone. The fact that Charlie answered the door made adam so happy that it wasn't one of the people that could easily kill him again..

"Well.. i heard about how your hotel redeems demons.. uh.." He thought he sounded too weak and dumb so he cleared his throat. "N-not that I care or anything!!" His face flushed in embarrassment. Charlie squealed in excitement and hugged adam tightly.

"Oh my gosh!! I know you just destroyed this place, but welcome!!" She smiled as vaggie walked over to see what was happening. When adam was in view of vaggie, she pulled out her spear and came running up, but Charlie held her back.

"Vaggie! What do you think you're doing?" Charlie scolded her. She continued to hold her back. Fortunately, vaggies little outburst died out.

"He shouldn't be allowed here for what he did." Vaggie grumbled and crossed her arms as Charlie let go of her. Charlie sighed.

"Well, this place IS for second chances, so.. He can stay!" She smiled. Vaggie groaned and mumbled before walking away. Adam, who was just standing there the whole time awkwardly, then spoke up.

"So I can..? Thank- I mean! Uh.. I'm NOT grateful.." He tried to keep up that stupid stuck-up personality. But he saw he failed as Charlie giggled at him.

"..thank you.." He grumbled.

"That's progress!" Charlie smiled even more.

( Some time later in the day after adam had been settled in to the hotel, and everybody had been told that adam is here now, word got out to lucifer too, even tho Charlie wanted to keep it secret.. )

"Alrighty, everyone!" Charlie said in her normal enthusiastic tone. She had gathered everyone in the living room, including adam.

"Today, I thought we could do a trust activity!" Her arms spread out like it's the most greatest idea she's ever had. Adam was already bored until he felt something watching him. When he turned his head to the side of the couch, he saw nifty staring at him and making him get scared.

"AH WHAT THE-" adam yelled from surprise. His wings fluffed up, and his tail pointed like one of a cats in a cartoon. The others laughed at him, and he groaned until nifty pulled a feather out, making him yelp.

"Fuckin' great job nifty!" Angel dust smirked as he downed a bottle of foreign alcohol.

"Sooooo let's move on to the trust activities!!!" Charlie slapped her hands together to get their attention.

( 3 hours later )

Adam groaned and got tired. It was literally like 10 pm, and they were still doing activities?? So he asked Charlie to sit out for a bit, going over to the couch where the others moved away from, well technically, they left the hotel.

So adam just relaxed on the couch until he felt more staring at him, was nifty left back? Nah, she couldn't have been, so he opened his eyes and saw a very surprised lucifer. Adam's eyes open up even more as he is kinda scared. Well, it's also a good reason why he was scared because lucifer beat his ass last battle.

"So it's true you ARE staying here, huh?" For some reason, lucifer didn't wanna bring himself to harm adam. Adam's face was just too nostalgic, and lucifer HATED it!

"Y-yeah I am.." adam was pretty tense. His tail was swaying side to side again. He got a little anxious around lucifer.

Silence filled the room as they both looked at each other, the thoughts of the garden of eden had flooded each other's minds, adam getting sad whilst lucifer was remembering the huge crush on adam he had. But back then, he wouldn't have admitted it. He just kinda stuck around Lilith instead.. lucifer realized he was blushing. The once round red blush was brushed out across his pale face.

"Are you.. blushing?" Adam questioned. He tilted his head, and his tail was now still and not moving. Lucifer walks up to adam and places his hands on both Adam's cheeks. Silence followed after this, lucifer getting a good image of Adam's face before jolting out of his little trance. He let go of his cheeks and blushed even more.

"You're so cu- I mean, I don't care. I hate you!" Lucifer ran away. This now left adam alone and confused, being so dumbfounded by what just happened. So he decided to go to his room to sleep as it was 11 pm now.
