The Shiny Umbreon woke up and fleed to the wrod in the stone. He heard battle cries and the sound of fighting swords further down the plains. He his in the tall grass, avoiding the soldiers.
Dusk awaited the Espeon princess at the sword. He sat there for a while, thirty minutes, to be exact. The sun moved slowly, and finally, it glinted upon the tip of the sword.
Not too much longer, the princess arrived with bodyguards. Dusk? He was alone on the Nightfall Tribe's grassy plains.
"What might you want?" Tue Shiny Espeon said. No bow, no nothing.
Dusk bowed and looked at her. "Greetings, princess. May I interest you in a peace treaty?"
"A peace treaty? While a war is going on?"
"If we had to be honest, we don't know why this is still going on." I
Dusk
"Fair enough." The princess said, probably considering the treaty. "But what makes you think we can settle this?"
"We want this to end, right? Not by eradicating another species but by a simple request for peace."
"And what do you suppose everyone else will think of this?"
"Well, some of our soldiers are bloodthirsty. As of most, they'd go along with this quite well," said the Umbreon.
The princess looked to her bodyguards, who nodded in unison. "Alright. I will sign the peace treaty."
  "Thank you, princess..." Dusk started.
"Dawn. Princess Dawn," the Espeon finished.
"...princess Dawn." Said Dusk mid-bow with a smile.
"I best be going. In five days, you will have my peace treaty, you hear?" Says Dawn.
Dusk nods and says, "Yes, princess. I promise."
"Goodbye." Said the princess with a dismissive wave of her paw. She walked across the grassy plains towards her palace with her head held high.
At once, Dusk rushed to his kingdom. He knew his father would be mad. Not just him, though - Collonel Illunis, Starless, and the residents of the villages, too.

Dusk padded into the castle carefully and silently. He trotted through the maim hallway, rounded the bend, passed through the corridor, climbed a big flight of stairs, and ended up in the dining hall in the very center of the castle where Collonel Illunis, Starless and her dad, Fleur; and King Cloudless were seated. Dusk crouched down and his behind a potted plant to listen.
"What do you mean, 'Maybe it was an accident'? This bad move mustn't be an accident. This is intentional."
King Cloudless spoke. "I will try to reach out to him, whereever he is."
"You better do it soon." Said Starless' father, pounding on the table.
"Settle down, now. We can't just send out a search party." Said the king.
"Of course you can! You have the information you need, so enter it in and do it!"
"I'm sorry, it's just not possible at this hour."
  "What do you mean?"
Dusk looked around. He found a nearby tapestry that wasn't completely against the wall. He ducked behind it, praying that he wouldn't be seen through the tapestry.
"If you can't send a search party, there is only one solution." Said Collonel Illunis.
"Oh no. We can't... no..." Started King Cloudless.
"Oh yes, you can." The Sylveon king said with a smirk.
"Your Majesty, do you really think you have to get out-"
"-the Houndooms?" Said the Sylveon King. "There is nothing else to do."
"I suppose we will have to..." Said Father.
"It is settled then," said the Sylveon King, the smirk remaining.
Father nods. "Gaurds! Go to the dungeons and get the Houndooms!"
Now Dusk knew he was in trouble.

Once the Pokémon cleared out of the dining room, he scrambled out of the castle. In the main hall, he saw his father coming up the stairwell. He ducked behind a large plant that doubled Dusk in size. Hopefully, Father wouldn't see him.
"Alright." Said Father, letting the Houndooms sniff Dusk's Formal Suit.
Dusk rushed out of the castle. There was almost nowhere to go now. He ran to the Espeon's palace and knocked frantically on the gates.
"Halt! Who goes there?" Shouted a nearby gaurd. "It's me, Dusk." The gaurd nodded in approval and let Dusk into the palace. He was immediately greeted by the huge flight or spiral stairs. He scrambled to the Royal Hall.
"Your Majesty," said Dusk out of breath, bowing.
"What do you want now?" Said Princess Dawn, looking down at him. Her throne was so tall that she needed small stairs to climb up.
"I am in great danger. You see, I had from the Nightfall Tribe yesterday because of my wedding."
"You didn't want to get married...?" said the Shiny Espeon.
  Dusk nodded.
"Then what seems to be the problem?"
"See, I was forced to get married, and I ditched them last minute. Now my father and the father of the princess I was supposed to marry thinks I went missing in action, and they sent Houndooms to track me down."
  "Ah, I see."
"Your Majesty, could you please do something?"
"You can stay in my room. My room is guarded by soldiers all day and night, so there will be nothing to fear."
"Thank you, thank you." Said Dusk gratefully.
"May I ask a question?" Asked Princess Dawn. Then, without waiting for an answer, she asked, "Who was the princess you were supposed to marry?"
"Princess Starless of the Twilight Tribe. She is a Shiny Sylveon," Dusk explained.
"They are not in war with us, but I suppose we would've been in a fifty-fifty chance of winning if you two Tribe's partnered. At least there was good thinking put into that wedding."
"Yeah, that's why I was forced to marry her."
"I see. Anyway, we shall not waste any time. Gaurds, lead to him to my room."
And with those words, Dusk was escorted to the Princess's room to hide. How long, only Arceus could know.
