I estimated it to be published by the month of May. I am currently writing the pre-twilight part of the fic, and then it will proceed to the first twilight movie. I'm still deciding if I will go through the movies, but I don't see my OC completely going through it all. But hey, I'll do votings and polls if you want me to write through all the movies/books.
Since I answered some questions in my Instagram, here is what my new twilight fic is about:
My fic is mostly based on the aftermath of Spanish, American, and Japanese colonization in the Philippines and how it shaped my country the way it is today. But it focuses on the Japanese colonization since that's what my OC has lived through. So, basically, it's historical fiction about the aftermath of the colonization periods in the Philippines and how they shaped my country the way it is now. It's my way of preserving history. It's like creating a story through true historical events with creative liberties to suit the background of my OC!
It will be so fun writing about Filipino culture, and I can write something I can relate to! My twilight fic contains pre-colonialism beliefs, religion, language, customs, practices, etc, and how it was influenced/erased with the Philippines being colonized by Spain, America, and Japan. It isn't a broad discussion, only surface information about it for background knowledge! But it is so fun writing about my country's history because it definitely is interesting!
So yes, she is indeed a Filipina OC so, to my Filipino readers, it would mean a lot if you could support my story when I publish it! Don't worry. I have a friend who's going to beta-read my story first to make sure that any historical information is accurate and correct!
