A/N: Hey guys! I hope you like this story! This is another Nalish story where they are NOT DATING and Nidal is in Texas and Salish is in LA.
Salish pov:
It was pouring rain outside, and I was sitting on my bed, looking out the window, watching the raindrops fall. It was 2:30 in the afternoon when my phone rang. It was Nidal calling. I picked up my phone and answered.
"Hey Nidal, what's up?" I said to him.
"Oh, no reason. I just wanted to know what you're up to!" He said, chuckling.
"I'm good. I miss you since you are not here," I replied.
"I miss you too," he said.
"So, why did you randomly call me? I'm always the calling you" I said questioning him.
"I just called because I have a surprise for you and it's on the way," he said
"What is it? Tell me now!" I said impatiently
"You'll see," He said hanging up the call
"OMG, I hate him so much for not telling me what the surprise is!" I said in my mind
I got up from my bed and went downstairs. Then, I went to the pantry to get a Granola bar for a snack and went up back to my room and watched YouTube on my laptop.
A few hours had passed, and it was already dinner time
"Say, come downstairs it's dinner time," Mom shouted
"Coming Mom!" I said running down the steps
As I went to sit down at the dinner table, Dad gave me a serving of pasta with no meatballs cause I'm vegetarian. I also poured myself a glass of orange juice.
"Honey, we have some news to tell" Dad said
"Is it good or bad?" I said taking a bite of my pasta
"We think you will like it" Hudson said with his mouth full
"Just tell me!" I said impatiently
"Nidal texted me that he called you about the surprise," Dad said
"Are you guys telling me what the surprise is?" I said
"Nidal is moving back to LA" Mom said excitedly
"OMG, that's the best news ever! I said excitedly
