konohamaru is my friend???

~ikimono's p.o.v. ~

"Man things have changed" I mumbled as I hung upside down on the tree branch to the academy.

I was at the academy being bored out of my mind because tenzo was out watching for any rogue ninja who might attack us, kakashi was still in the sand trying to get the kazekage back, and iruka was teaching. I had absolutely no one to talk to.

Iruka promised to take me out for some ramen after classes ended and since I had nothing to do I decided to wait for him.

As time passed I could feel the blood rushing to my head so I sat up on the branch and leaned my back on the trunk "well make your sselves comfortable I'm not going anywhere anytime ssoon" I said to the anbu who were following me.

I expected them to be I had only been back two days and I've been with rogue ninja for two years. Last time I came back from a rogue I helped kill their hokage of course they're on edge.

Yuki now lived in my room and he usually prefered to stay there instead of following me since he doesn't like being in my weapons pouch. So here I was doing absolutely nothing but waiting.

" Hey is that you ikimono!?" I heard someone shout. I looked down and saw konohamaru. "Wow he's a genin now" I thought to myself as I jumped down from the branch and waved.

" Hi" I said before konohamru glomped me and made me fall to the ground. When he got off he had snot running down his nose and tears pouring from his eyes "I thought you where dead! Where have you been!?" He shouted at me.

My eyes widened " I didn't think anyone cared this much besides my dad and his friends" I thought to myself. Then I remembered who konohamaru was related to and I shoved him away from me. I tilted my head down and let my bangs cover my eyes. 

" Sshouldn't you hate me" I mumbled trying not to cry. " Huh why should I hate you I've been worried sick about you ever since you left with no explanation and no one would tell me anything.

"You sshould hate me because of what I did to your grandfather" I said getting sort of irritated. "That wasn't you I know that you'd never do that" konohamaru said as he placed a hand on my shoulder. I looked up at him and let a tear escape my eye. "How can you know that for ssure " I asked.

He smiled "because I just know it and name one criminal who would cry over their crimes" he said as he wiped away the tear. I smiled and then hugged him "thank you" I said. He hugged me back "no problem".

" Hey my team just got dismissed from training and I really need to practice wanna help" he asked. " Ssure" I nodded my head as I followed him to a training feild.

~time skip~

Konohamaru used his jutsu to create smoke around me and I sighed as I grabbed his arm and flipped him over my body pinning him to the ground for the 5th time.

Once the smoke cleared I got off of him and sat down beside him. " Wow you're really strong you haven't even broken a sweat" he exclaimed as he breathed heavily.

" Nope you're just weak" I teased while smiling. " Aw come on I'm getting stronger and I graduated as one of the top in my class you're just really strong" he said. I smiled and then looked up at the sky.

"Judging by the position of the sun iruka should be done with work soon" I thought to myself. " Ssorry konohamaru but I need to go find iruka ssensei now I'll train with you later if you'd like" I said as I stood up and started to run towards the academy.

As I ran I could hear people whispering about me. I didn't care they deserved the right to talk bad about me but even with all my training it still got to me a little. I was ignoring most of the comments but then someone said something that startled me so much I almost tripped over my feet.
