Well I'm fucking doomed.

How they think that's a good idea is beyond me, but also trusting Namjoon with what he is saying? That's concerning.

He could be talking utter bollocks, and easily playing Chan. We've already established Chan can have poor judgement.. with Tommy being the most obvious piece of evidence.

I just hope they can give me more training so I can at least defend myself.

"..Okay, so Y/N.. On Friday you will accompany Hyunjin, Minho and Yoongi on visiting another of our clients. They are a tricky one to get close to, but they are a bit of a stronghold when it comes to arms manufacturing. They always get hassle so their security is top notch.."

"So by putting me somewhere essentially secure.. You are testing how viable these threats actually are?" I question, trying to understand his logic.

"Close. It will test if this client is a threat."

Chan frowned at Namjoon.

"Why would your client be a threat? What exactly has happened for you to know of these threats?" Chan quizzes.

"We are getting some coded messages on our containers.

Someone is whistleblowing, but each one says the same thing. So far seven of our clients have had the same message." He explains.

"..Being?" Chan prompts.

Joon then unlocks his phone and shows a number of photos to us. 

"Morse code?" I puzzle.

.-. . -.. / -.. .-. . ... ...

"Yep." Namjoon confirms.

"What does it mean?" Minho frowns, looking at me, worried.

"Red dress." 

Oh god.

"How do you know it's a threat?" Chan then asks, trying to reassure me by placing his hand around my shoulder.

"I don't. But it is the most likely situation we are dealing with. 

Our long standing client who Y/N had the pleasure of meeting yesterday actually had the dress. He was the client who's place was trashed by SM. I'm yet to determine if they are linked." 

"There's no way SM would go through that much trouble." Chan scoffs.

"That's what I'm thinking, but we can't be too sure. SM have been in the game too long to start causing trouble like this." Joon goes on.

"I have someone I can ask." Minho lets out abruptly.

We all look at Minho after his sudden outburst.

"Who is that exactly?" Joon huffs.

"An old friend. He used to work for one of SMs groups that did field work like us. He still works there but moved to a more internal role as it's less of a threat to life." Minho explains, and Chan nods in understanding.

"Sungchan?" He suggests, and Minho nods to confirm.

"How do you know you can trust him?" Namjoon probes.

"Groups that don't do field work for SM aren't really tied to them, other than the name. Some go into other avenues like cross selling, laboratory testing, laundering etc. Like Aespa." 

"Aespa?" Joon frowns.

"Yes, Aespa. One of our clients." Minho exhales. 

I could tell Namjoons constant condescending tone was grating on Minho.
