A new day arrives in Gensokyo after some morning preparation, I grab the spellbook that Ran left for me. I open the book reading carefully. Looking through, i see Spells like barrier and sealing spells and some shield spells. I hover over the area, Defensive section i say to myself. I skipped a dozen pages and see "Utility Section". I opened the section the spells are grouped based on their elements. However that's not what I'm looking for. The particular spell is in the back part. It is called "Procurement Spell".The procurement spell made during the times of scarcity, allows magicians to synthethically duplicate existing items or materials. Commonly used for making building materials and ingredients. One can speed up the process by adding the raw materials of the desired item. This is the one i want right now.

I bring the book outside and picked a random brick from the shed to use it as a test subject. I draw on the ground two spell circles placing the brick in one and leave the other empty. I walk away focusing my magic and chanting the spell. Two circle starts to glow brightly  for a while slowly fading and i see two bricks now. I run to the duplicated brick as i touches it the brick crumbles as it's hollow. At the very least it works, i just need more practice.

5 Hours of brickmaking later

 "Finally!" I shout

"An actual intact brick" another  exclamation

I raise the brick above my head in celebration. Finally i managed to made a Brick that's not deformed, unfinished, or structurally compromised. The red color, the rough texture and the weight truly feels like a resounding success. I bring the brick inside and placed it on the table, With this result i decided to try something else. Never mind the piles of bricks in the middle of an open field those are just defects.

I pick some 300. AAC Blackout cartridges from my Armory alongside an MCX to test it out. For this I try to use one bullet as a test subject. I channel the magic the circlle glows and a another bullet formed, inspecting the round removing the bullet dumping the powder. Seemingly good enough i don't see defects on the primer either. I make a new one using the same process, this time i load it into my rifle and hope for the best

*Bang*

Gunshot can be heard i see the impact point on a tree, the casing flew off. I inspeact the rifle there's no visible damage. I check the casing the neck has expanded and although it lacks the gunpowder smell it certainly functions as intended. Now here comes the fun part. I dump the box in the circle. With this i can use as many 300 AAC. Blackout cartridges as i want without caring for the price.

Thirty minutes later

After some tiresome magic work i managed to turn a small box of 20 rounds into five 100 rounds boxes. I check each boxes for defects and found at least 40 rounds proven to be unsafe to use. That's really unfortunate, considering how costly those rounds are.

"You're thriving? very good"

Those words surprised me but not the voice. It's Ran Yakumo that's for sure, i turn around it is her. The way she rest her hands makes it look like the sleeves are connected, gives the aura of wisdom and competence.

"Ehh... Just testing some magic Lady Ran." I can see her looking at the stack of bricks and the 300 Blackout rounds that I separated from the defects.

"Using Rifle as a Catalyst for danmaku good choice with what you have available

"You've been working i see, It's good to have some intiative and curiosity in the arcane. Unfortunately our training in Danmaku has reached to a certain point where you need to see and experienced a Spell Card"
