Hi, Mum, it's your eldest talking
We ain't spoke since I did my walking
Life's good, a blast, I'm doing okay
There's somethings that I need to sayWhy did you never love us, Mum?
Don't expect a different outcome
Humiliated - "Don't go near Eldest, she's got nits"
Do you know how much a gut punch that hits?"Go have a bath" then "you still stink"
Passive insults bring me to the brink
"What a waste of water!"
I'm your fucking daughter"Wear makeup, get a boyfriend!"
So I'm a grandchild factory to you in the end?
Fuck that, half gay anyway, you're screwed in the head
That's why your kids say you're better off dead"I can't provide you with what you need!"
"Your sisters need shoes, your feet can bleed!"
So I walked around with holes in my shoes
And you're surprised when I'm bullied and abusedSwoop in like a hero to the blind and the dumb
"Oh wow, oh gee, you're such a good mum!"
Sit there and say: "What's so great about cutting?"
"I'll do it with you" - no pauses, no stutteringSpiked three girls at a funeral and lied about it later
Jesus, woman, could you be a better hater?
Bringing up things Dad did before I was born
To make me hate him - you made my life torn! You did it to me and now to my sisters
You lie and gold dig all of your misters
From Dad, to John and now to Joe
Make like Amy Winehouse and GO GO GOTo rehab, to extensive therapy
Stay away until you can admit your errancy
But I know you and I know your method
This storm is one I've always weathered"I don't know what I did so wrong!"
I laid it out for you, loud as a gong
Keep away from me so that I can heal
The sound of your voice makes my ears peelSo save this poem without my face
I'm done for now, close the case
