In between recordings both respectful groups were given a break, TheBoyz and Aespa spent this time getting to know each other "Yeah have you seen the edits between you and Giselle Noona? it was so funny" Sunwoo jokes around talking about the incident between Changmin and Giselle on an award show "Yeah I didn't expect you to be right there okay" Giselle rebuttal with the aespa members giggling "But to be fair unnie the comments along with it was hilarious" The other agreed with ning ning comments

During all of this Y/n was standing still lost in his thoughts, most members caught on to it but decided to let him be for a while, except for one person "Psst Y/n ssi, wanna grab some fresh air?" Minjeong sidled over to him grabbing his attention "Oh yeah sure" He smiled following Minjeong behind her

They walked over to the private beach near the venue, Minjeong smiled widely and ran to the ocean tossing her heels somewhere "Hey watch out for your dress" Y/ncaughtd up to her. Minjeong didn't care and walked towards the edge of the sea anyways "Come on Y/n" Minjeong waved him over, y/n was hesitant at first not wanting to make the producers and stylist mad, but he didn't want to upset her as well 'Ah fuck it' He smiled and went over to her, taking off his dress shoes and socks "Hey" He smiled when he was next to her "Hey"

"So.. what's up y/n?" Minjeong asked you, making you a bit confused. "Back then, you were a bit quiet there" You stood there in silence not knowing you were not in the headspace during the break "Oh, yeah it's just that... *sighs* I don't know" You couldn't quite put it into words, you didn't know why you were so worried about this

But Minjeong could feel what you're probably feeling right now because to be honest she has some uncertainties as well "Are you worried about the outcome of the show" Minjeong tried to pick and guess what's troubling you right now and it seemed that she was close noticing how he softened a bit "Yeah, but not only that guess" You sat down on the soft sand with Minjeong following you sitting beside you, staying quiet but the silence spoke a thousand words to you, saying that she was there to hear your thoughts

"I feel like everything has been thrown at me at once and I'm kinda struggling to juggle it all, don't get me wrong everything that we have achieved was a blessing but I don't know... I kinda feel a bit overwhelmed"

Minjeong related to you "To be honest with you Y/n, I kinda feel overwhelmed too" You looked at her only to realise that she had been looking at you this whole time "Really" she nodded in response "I also feel grateful for me and my unnies have achieved until right now, but I feel like we have been putting our foot on the pedal that we sometimes forget how to relax for a moment" you paid attention to her noticing her subtle features when she speaks and how she usually explains with arms gestures and how she would make eye contact once in a while
"Let's make a promise then" Minjeong tilted her head in confusion

"We'll treat this show as a... vacation for us, to clear our heads from our busy schedules" She smiled and nodded in agreement "Here hold put on your pinkie" She smiled holding out her pinkie finger, you smiled in confusion "What are we twelve" You joke around "Just do it" You smiled and followed along her "Let's make a promise that we would make the best of our times here and that we got each other backs through all of it" You gave her a small grin and interlocking your pinkies together "I can live with that promise" She was beaming with excitement

Unbeknownst to them the rest of Aespa and TheBoyz members were silently watching them from afar giggling amongst each other "I feel like a proud father right now" New wiped a then non-existent tear from his cheeks "Our Minjeong is all grown up" Karina dramatically put her hands around her hip "Wah unnie you sounded like a Grandmother back there" Ning ning teased "Why you little.." Karina chased ning ning around with her laughing while running away "I'm surrounded by kids" Giselle shook her head

While the camera crew was secretly recording their wholesome moments, the group and most importantly Minjeong and Y/n
