On the planet Artemis, there lived a boy named Y/n. He was 10-years-old and was an orphan. He would mourn the loss of his parents quite a lot because he lost them to a group of Hyperion Soldiers, and they were his whole world. He had just one thing from when they were still alive.

It was his mother's. She was a former Siren, but gave up her abilities when she gave birth to Y/n. He looked at it and sighed, planting a kiss on the gem.

Y/n: I love you guys...

The boy then hears sirens wailing, indicating the Hyperion Army coming into town. He hides the necklace in his shirt and climbs up top of a roof, overlooking the bastards who killed his parents entering his home. He looks down from his perch and sees someone walking to the town, and the boy had a bad feeling of this guy.

His name was Mr. Blake, senior vice president of Mercenary Relations and Tourism of the Hyperion corporation. He spelled trouble, not just because of his involvement with Hyperion, but also because he wore a suit. The boy looked down at the man as he walked into his home, but wasn't interested in letting him stay. He jumps down and begins charging at him, but is quickly stopped by the soldiers following him.

Mr. Blake: [To nearest soldier] Tell me: Who is this young lad?

Soldier: He's just a kid. Parents were caught harboring something, got killed trying to protect him.

Mr. Blake looked down at the boy, who was now struggling to get out from under the soldiers who piled on top of him, with an intrigued look on his face. This boy was going to grow into more than just a simple soldier, but something even greater.

Mr. Blake: [Bends down to the boy's level] How is it a boy like you can survive threats like this?

Y/n: I'm not just some "boy", ya douche. My mother was a Siren, so I can handle myself around a bunch of bucket heads.

Mr. Blake: Hmm. How about I take you somewhere then? You can get off this dump of a planet, and possibly see some action.

Y/n: [Scoffs and turns away] Why should I trust you?
