After a jam-packed day with Kiro and the band, I crashed onto my bed like a sack of potatoes. My muscles were screaming, but my heart was singing from all the fun we had. Staring up at the ceiling, I couldn't help but replay the day's events in my head, like a movie on repeat.
Eventually, I rolled over and peeked out the window. The night sky was lit up like a Christmas tree, and I couldn't resist the urge to head out to the balcony. With a groan, I dragged myself up and stumbled over, feeling the cool breeze hit my face as I swung the door open.
The balcony was like my own little sanctuary, away from the chaos of the day. Leaning against the railing, I took a deep breath of the fresh Parisian air, letting it wash over me like a warm hug.
Out of the corner of my eye, I caught a flicker of movement. Turning, I spotted a figure on a nearby rooftop. Blinking, I realized it was a cat, staring back at me with those big, curious eyes.
"Hey there, furball," I called out, flashing a grin. To my surprise, the cat actually hopped down and sauntered over to join me. It was like something out of a cheesy rom-com.
"Just enjoying the night vibes, huh?" I chuckled, scratching the cat behind the ears. It purred in response, like it was totally vibing with me. Together, we stood there, soaking in the peacefulness of the night and the beauty of the city below.
KIRO'S POV
With the sound of the shower still ringing in my ears, I emerged from the bathroom feeling like a new man. Towel wrapped around my waist, I flopped onto my bed, ready to dive headfirst into a Netflix binge.
But before I could even reach for the remote, my phone buzzed with a text from Luka. Instantly intrigued, I abandoned my Netflix plans and talked to him
Just as things were getting interesting, my dad walked into the room "hey Kiro I need you to watch over your sister me and your mom are going on a trip for two days" he said as I looked at him and nodded my head
"Sure thing, Dad," I replied, As he left the room
With a sigh, I told Luka goodnight and reluctantly turned in for the night. Cookie was curled up next to me, providing some much-needed comfort as I drifted off to sleep.
