We're one and the same, connected to each other

There She was, once again reborn.
Hoping, destiny's ploy now isn't forlorn.
There He was, meditating, but waiting for Her from dusk till dawn.
Centuries ago, She left him alone.
But They both knew, She isn't forever gone.
They knew, They were one and the same.
That was something that couldn't be changed.
They knew, they were never apart, but connected to each other by heart.
