Chapter 2: Arlo

JADE

"Excuse Me?!" I half shouted at him, although that had been exactly what i had been doing,

"You heard me" he grinned lazily "anyway I think you need to apologize for dropping a fuck load of books on my feet, what sort of a nerd carries them around anyway?"

I can not belive he just said that, HE walked into me, what the hell was he talking about? I couldn't believe I had been checking this boy out less than a minute ago

"For your information, I was putting these in my locker and your the one who walked into me so it would be nice to apologise" I sneered at him

"Alright calm down, I'm sorry your highness" he said doing a fake bow while picking up my books and plopping them in my hands,

"Now where's my apologie for dropping books on my feet" he smirked

Seriously?

I reluctantly muttered "sorry for dropping a fuck load of books on your feet"

"Good girl"

GOOD GIRL?!

and then he just walked off.

What a dick.

Probably best he went though any second longer and I would of slapped him so hard.

I found myself raging to Aurora about the boy and she asked "what did he look like?"

"Like a dick" I said annoyed

"Jade be serious I want to know who he is" she looked at me sternly

"Fine he had light blue eyes dark hair with blond highlights, a tank top and jeans"

She shrugged "Sounds like about every basic boy here, but did he have an eyebrow piercing? He might be Arlo"

"Yeah he did" I pause "but it doesn't matter what his name is I don't care about him"

Arlo

I find myself mentally repeating the name to myself all afternoon, I had got the bus home where I was then bombarded with questions from my mother about how school was, I excused myself saying I didn't want to get behind on homework, instead of doing that I'm stuck on my bed stalking instagram for Arlo.

I feel like a creep but its worth it when i finally find his insta, I only wanted to find out more about him, I'm not a weirdo, I hope.

I scroll through hundreds of cat pics before finally confirming it was him, it was a selfie from 2020, 4 year's old but it confirmed it was him I also find pictures of what appears to be his best friend popping up in lots of posts but nothing more than that.

I sigh rolling over on my bed

I flick over to Snapchat where I find 3 snaps and a chat from Aurora I open them finding a blurry picture of the road and a couple of selfies, the chat read

I open it finding a rick roll

How original

Jade : haha you got me

I turn off my phone before getting underneath the covers of my bed and start to sleep.
