Ling Dolivo

Of course its monday, the sweetest day of the week, but who am I kidding? sino ba magkakagusto sa monday if you're a student? tsk. I don't have a choice but get myself ready para sumabak ulit sa unibersidad na aking pinapasukan, after our vacation week, nasanay na akong hindi pumapasok, kidding, malapit naman na ako grumaduate kaya I need to continue what I started.

While fixing my necktie, I heard Jiejie's voice on my door, knocking softly with her voice telling me to come down for breakfast, I cleared my throat first before answering her with a soft 'yeah' and I heared her footsteps walking away. If you're thinking why is she still here in our house, well to tell you what, she decided to stay here for a day until she leave, gusto niya raw muna kami makasama at makabonding bago siya tuluyang manirahan sa iisang bubong kasama ang kaniyang asawa, its not that she will forever leave, the difference here is hindi na siya uuwi dito kundi diretso na siya sa kanilang bahay, which made me a little bit sad as her sibling, I grew up with her and my attachment to her grew along, in contrary she raised me, she became my 2nd mother but that won't neglect mom, my adopted mother who raised me so well with full of love and care.

When I finished fixing myself, I grabbed my bag at lumabas na saaking kwarto, I locked it and opened my phone while walking down the downstairs, as usual ang dami nanamang dada ng aking groupchat but what caught my attention is Zilong's messages, ilang araw na kaming hindi nagkikita and pakiramdam ko nangungulila nanaman ako sa mga yakap niya. I suddenly felt hot noong naalala ko nanaman ang nangyari noon sa maldives, damn, who would've thought that the man I only knew for days took away my virginity? bakit parang ang bilis kong sumuko..

"You're here, come eat na at hinihintay ka na ni kuya sa garahe" I snapped back to reality when I heared mom's voice, in the kitchen table, mom, dad and jiejie were fixing the plates and some of our maid helped too. Umupo na ako sa aking pwesto at nagsandok ng kanin at mga ulam.

"Are you feeling excited, anak?" Mom asked while biting her breakfast, bago ko siya sagutin ay nilunok ko muna ang aking kinain at tumingin sakaniya, I smiled a little.

"Nah, why would I, ma? wala namang bago sa university" I heared them chuckled, my dad also interfere.

"Malay mo pagawan kayo ng essay niyan tapos title 'what is your reflection after your 1 week vacation'" Jiejie and mom laughed at dad's joke but I only rolled my eyes. Who would let us hold a paper in medtech anyway.

"Come on dad, I'm not a high schooler anymore, hindi na uso ang essay sa medtech" Dad only snickered and we continue to eat with the sweet atmosphere.

After having our breakfast, I looked at the time, its already 7:45am, luckily 9:20am ang aking unang klase. It will only take me 30 minutes until the university if walang traffic sa aking dadaanan. When I got my baon, I went to dad to say goodbye and I kissed mom's cheeks, but to jiejie I kissed her forehead, normal na saamin 'to dahil ganito nila ako pinalaki, and since I am taller than jiejie, sakto nalang para saakin na halikan siya sa noo. I walked away and I heared them shouted a 'goodluck' I waved my hand to them before proceeding to the car.

AFTER minutes I finally arrived in school. Marami na ulit ang tao and they are wearing their course uniform, us medtech student wear blue, dahil yun ang kulay naming medtech students. I bid my goodbye and thanked kuya driver before entering the university, but before I step foot inside, I felt an arm around my shoulder and only to meet a towering figure of Valir beside me.

"Namiss kita pre ah" He said and smiled, I sighed and removed his arm around me dahil parang bumigat siya, I felt a muscle under it also and I guess nag gym siya.
