Jimin turned around and smiled at the sight, Jungkook sitting in the tub, hiding his body amongst the bubbles. The boy looked absolutely adorable and he cooed at the shy smile toying at his lips. When he lifted his shirt off, Jungkook looked away and kept his face angled that way as Jimin stripped off the rest of his clothing. He knew it was possibly too soon for this, to both be without barriers pressed against one another but something told him that Jungkook needed this as much as he did."Can you slide up baby?" Jimin asked.
Jungkook nodded and slid forward enough for Jimin to climb in behind him and settle himself down, his legs on either side of the boy. With a gentle touch he slid his hands and arms around the boys middle and pulled him back against him until his back was resting against his front. The boys thinness was worrisome, he made a mental note to feed this boy until his stomach ached. Well, maybe not to that extent, but close to it.
"Is this ok? Are you uncomfortable?"
Jungkook shook his head no, and with much hesitation he leaned his head back against Jimins shoulder before he closed his eyes. It wasn't uncomfortable, far from it. The feeling he was receiving was beyond words, not something he had expected.
"Thank you" Jungkook said.
"For what Kookie?" Jimin had been playing with the bubbles, swiping his fingers back and forth infront of them when Jungkook spoke.
"For accepting me maybe, that is if you have"
"I think that you don't give yourself enough recognition. You are incredibly strong Jungkook, I don't know your entire past or the troubles you had to face but from what I've been able to glimpse at, what you've been through and to still hold your head up, I'm proud of you baby. Me and Tae both. So don't think for a second that Tae or myself wouldn't accept you, ok?"
Jungkook's eyes teared up at the soft words spoken to him. For the first time in years he felt loved and he didn't want it to end but he needed to know if they weren't empty promises.
"Even with what he did?"
Jimins breath hitched. Of course he'd accept him, was this what held the boy back? Did he think that they'd leave him because of something he couldn't control.
"Baby," his arms tightened around him. They heard the door to the bedroom opening and Taehyung walked in with a tray in his hands, he set it down on the bed and then walked in the bathroom, this time fully clothed. But Jimin payed him no mind as he continued. "What happened to you was out of your control, we would never hold that against you"
The younger nodded, his eyes never leaving Tae's figure who sat down on the ledge of the tub and stared deeply into his. Even if Taehyung came off as abrasive and intimidating, there was also a gentleness in his eyes that Jungkook noticed when they caught his.
"You can..." he cleared his throat and looked away from those dazzling tiger eyes, he wasn't sure why Jimin addressed him as Bear, to Jungkook he looked more like a Tiger, fierce and unforgiving. "If you want, you can look me up, my past"
Neither of the two spoke, it created an awkward atmosphere for the younger as the silence dragged on.
"Bambi" Teahyung spoke after a couple of minutes. "Can you look at me?" Eyes glistening with tears met his, he reached out, holding the boys face gently. "Don't force yourself, it's ok to wait until..."
Jungkook shook his head, he needed them to know if they were going to be in his life but he couldn't bring himself to tell them. Reliving those memories in detail, it was something that he promised himself to never do. He figured if they found out on their own, he could answer any question he was comfortable enough with that they had. But telling them, that was something he couldn't bring himself to do.
