She continued to tap the pen in her hand on the file in front of her. She knows she shouldn't be distracted by the thought of a mere stranger but he was definitely making her and sadly she's letting it.
Her secretary, who has been watching at her state for the past one minute cleared his throat and she looked at him with a blank face.
It was sudden when she asked him, "Don't I look pretty? "
He was startled by the question. It was obvious from the way he stuttered between answering her question.
"Y-yes ma'am.. you're pretty".
She wasn't satisfied and her question session was too not over.
"Would you have dated me if I asked you?"
Red hue spread on his cheeks and she internally smirked. It's not like she didn't consider him as an option. But the first thought itself made it clear that he wasn't her type.
Nah, definitely not!
"Ma'am.. W-why are you asking such questions?"
She shrugged her shoulder.
"Never mind".With that, she signed the document and put it forward to him.
"One thing..."
She took out her phone and sent a photo to him."Find out the details of him".

It was night already and Haechan put on his overcoat before walking out of his room to the dimly lit kitchen. Making sure that the dinner was all ready and everything was kept properly, he made his way to his mother's room.
The door was open. Peeping his head through the door, he glanced at his mother. There she sat, beside the window, staring into the distance.
He knew. She was waiting for her beloved son and husband to come back.
Like usual, a heavy feeling settled on his chest. Taking out his phone, he quickly texted his sister about his night duty and went out of the house.
The night was getting colder and he rubbed his hands together to get some warmth. The sound of a notification on his phone and he took it out to look at it.

Seems like our plan is working out.
There's someone outside the cafe.It was a warning and he increased his paces. One more turn and he stopped in his tracks when he saw a silhouette lingering in the dark, beside the cafe.
The person had worn black all over, jacket and pants along with a cap and mask. He seemed to be hesitating to enter the cafe.
After watching the person for quite a few minutes, Haechan let out a dry sigh. He wasn't going to waste his another minute by watching him.
Adjusting his coat and keeping a knife hidden beneath the cuffs of his coat, he started to walk lazily towards the cafe. He could sense the gaze on him.
It was sudden when he reached out to the intruder and put him in a chokehold. Kicking his legs that led to the person to fall on the ground on his knees, he immediately took out the mask and cap of the person only to hear a loud gasp from his behind.
He too was surprised to see a familiar figure. It was the same girl who had asked him to be her boyfriend the other day.
He turned around to his friends who were now eagerly waiting for the next scene.
Hyerin held an awkward smile while trying to loosen the grip over her wrist by Haechan.
"I-it hurts you know".
"Are you stalking me?"
That was the only question he could think of right then and Hyerin was good at quickly defending by shaking her head in a no."We need to have talk".
It was Haechan and he went inside the cafe without turning back.
______________
"Look here miss, we brought you here because we didn't want to cause a scene by making a woman kneel on her knees in front of our cafe in a fucking night".
Haechan had this serious expression and she knew she fucked up.
The coffee, given by someone with a cute and goofy smile who whispered to her in between that his name was Jaemin, was now left out on the table in front of her. She didn't know what to say or do.
Eventually her eyes landed on the three people sitting not so far away from them. Jaemin eyed her to drink the coffee while he too enjoyed one by himself. The one beside him was looking at Haechan's and her interaction with too much interest. The third one who seemed to fight against his beauty sleep, sat beside them with a tired face.
"I-I-"
"If you didn't get it, then let me once again remind you that I'm not interested in dating a total stranger whom I met just yesterday".
Haechan said while sitting opposite to her seat. He stared at the coffee in front of her in distaste and glanced at Jaemin who was nodding his head in bliss after taking the coffee.
Hyerin hung her head low and took the coffee to drink so that she can distract herself. It's the same.. Getting rejected by the same guy in the same place.
Just one sip from it and her expression changed into a bitter one. She stared at Jaemin wondering if he was trying to kill her.
Strangely Jaemin was smiling proudly as if he appreciated his coffee more than anything.
It was then something settled in her mind. A truth.
She cleared her throat and looked up at Haechan.
"I know who you're-"
The words had definitely grabbed everyone's attention but the sudden sound of a gunshot startled them and within a second, the four boys were out with a gun in their hands.
Haechan looked at Hyerin.
"Get under the table".
"What!"
"I said get under the table!"
