"good morning," I say softly as I enter the kitchen
"good morning bee" Pops kisses my forehead
my aunt and grandfather always call me 'bee' or 'honey'
"good morning" Aunty Mina smiles at me before easily flipping another pancake
I sit down in my seat as Sophia babbles about what she'll be doing at kindergarten today
it's usually the same thing; playing, colouring, painting and dressing up
lucky girl
I wish I could go back to kindergarten
I know people would just say 'Become a kids teacher then' but I don't want to be a teacher and look after kids I just want to play with no worries and the only thing to be sad about is my favourite coloured pencil breaking
"here honey" my aunt places down my plate with a stack of chocolate chip pancakes on it
"thank you" I smile before squirting chocolate sauce over them and digging in
Once everyone's finished with their breakfast I take the plates and put them in the dishwasher before going back upstairs and changing into a dress

I have work today for 3 hours starting at 10 am then I'm going to spend the rest of the day at the waterfall and read
I'm super excited I've not been in 3 days since I met Franco
I wonder if I'll ever see him again
I shrug at my thoughts and sit down at my vanity
I do my usual makeup; a little mascara, eyebrow gel, concealer and bronzer before I finish with blush and tinted lipgloss
I plait my hair into two dutch braids with a few curly baby hairs framing my face
I open my favourite draw with a smile
my bows
I love having bows in my hair, they're just so cute
I take two little baby blue ones and tie them at the ends of my braids
I spray deodorant and the Miss Dior perfume my pops buys for me before grabbing a little bag and putting a book, a lace veil-like head cover and my phone in it
I skip downstairs and pack a few snacks as well before saying 'goodbye' to Pops and heading to the boutique
I set my things in the back before putting on my lanyard and making my way to the shop floor
I start folding and hanging different clothes as a group of teenage girls come in
the girls all look around at giggle with each other
