With the threat of hollows and Ethereals right on your doorstep, the desire of venturing into the hollows, hunting Ethereals and helping others was what he wanted the most. However due to his condition, Hypersensitive to Ether, he couldn't enter those zones without turn into an ethereal in less than ten seconds. However, with his intelligence, Enzo's mechanical skills and the blueprints left to him by someone important from his past, they created a system of armor that completely filtered out the ether and even give the wearer extraordinary abilities.
