I Just Want CeCe Back

It had been a few weeks since CeCe lost her memory. Her family and friends had hoped her memory would return within a day or two, but time was ticking by and Cece still only remembered a few things.

She remembered how Gunther made her feel and started dating him. She remembered Tinka wasn't really her best friend, but they tried to get along for Gunther. She remembered her little brother was a bit of a schemer and her mom was embarrassing sometimes. She even remembered Ty and Deuce were two of her good friends.

However, the one she still said she couldn't remember was her best friend Rocky and Rocky was losing it. She was crying on her fire escape when he climbed up.

"You are crying?"

Rocky sniffled. "Go away."

He ignored her pleas and plopped down beside her. " Is it because of Cece? Because she still does not remember you even though she remembers everyone else?"

"Why was it you? Why did she remember you instead of me?"

He gave her a sympathetic frown. "I don't have the answer. Perhaps something happened right before the accident that made her upset with you." She glared at him. "Or perhaps I was on her mind when she fell. I have no way of knowing since I was away at the time." He smiled. "But if this is my way to be with CeCe then I will take it. It may be selfish, but I am alright with that, at least I get to be with her again." Gunther sighed. "I fear the moment her memories return."

"Well I beg for it. I just want CeCe back! I want her to remember me! I want her to know that I'm her best friend and I always will be!"

"Then perhaps you should show her how much she means to you instead of yelling at her to remember you." He stated. He grabbed the railing and pulled himself up. "I cannot say why CeCe remember me but not you, but I will not apologize. This may be my only moment to show her how much she means to me and how much I do not hate her. I love her."

Rocky scoffed. "Since when?! You and Tinka both hated us! And we hated you! Why did you change it?"

Gunther shook his head as a chuckle escaped his lips. "I have never once felt actual hate for Cece or even you. A strong dislike for a while, but with CeCe there was always this feeling of warmth under it." He smiled. "Until she remembers how she truly feels about me I am going to enjoy this love she has for me even if it may be false." His lips twisted upwards into a grin. "And if, by some chance, she regains all her memories and still tells me she loves me then I am going to happily dance in the rain like a madman because that is what love does to people. It makes them dance with joy in rain." He said then he climbed down to the window of CeCe's apartment.

Rocky stood up. She leaned over the railing cautiously and watched as CeCe welcomed Gunther into her apartment with a kiss on his cheek.

"I just want CeCe back."
