" YOU ALL DID A GREAT JOB, EXCELLENT! " at Leandro's proud tone, series of applause, shoulder bumping and fist bumping arose.
" You can all proceed to the front desk. Each envelope has a name tag on it. Take the one which has your name on it." Leandro spoke. As he spoke I couldn't help my eyes from trailing down his chiseled jawline, narrowing down to his form fitting, white button up which had a few buttons unlocked in the chest. His dirty blonde hair looked dazzling today.
If there's something all the females of this building could agree on, was in Leandro's beauty. At 26 the man looked like a walking god. He was a panty stripper and I'd do anything just to end up in his bed.
At his orders, we did as he instructed. I was the last to pick my envelope filled with money. A smile spread on my face as I stared at the overly filled paper packed and the two-hundred grand check, laced with the green papers.
I joined the others in the line. My sister stood at the very end of the room. She didn't get an envelope..she never has.
She had her hands on her sides. She appeared to be lost in her thoughts, ignoring all the buzzing sound around her.
I don't understand why they always force her to take part in such meetings. She'd always worked, of course in different missions than those assigned to me, but she had never been paid, well at least, not in our presence.
" There's an upcoming ball which you all are expected to attend next week. I want you all to be at your best, so go out and get started." Another announcement was made. That was our clue to get out of there.
I was about to exit the room but her voice made me stop in my tracks. I moved beside the door so as to make myself as invisible as possible.
" I-I didn't get my pay check and y-you promised you'll-" she stammered. She was nervous but at the same time, I could see the determination and worry written all over her face; something was definitely bothering her.
