I'm 24 years old, in my fourth year of f1, racing for Red Bull and I have 8 ex-boyfriends. I also have a rather unhappy social media team who have been emailing me nonstop since the news broke. It took kaylee phoning me for me to actually answer them. Avoiding the confrontation seemed like the most viable option at the time but it's not exactly the way I want to spend my winter break.

I got the call up to Red Bull last year, replacing Checo when he left at the end of 2022. Max and I get on well. He's like an older brother and helped me last year with some of the backlash after Harry Lewis and I broke up. My thought process is interrupted by a knock on the bedroom door. "Hannah, we're going to hit the slopes if you want to join us." Taryn says, walking into the room. I sigh, throwing my phone down on the bed. "You need to get out of this room. I'm worried about you. You have to start training for this season soon so I gave you the last week but you need to get moving please. For me." She says to me and I sigh. "You're right." I say softly, starting to get up and out of the comfortable bed. She squeals in happiness before offering to help me up. "Go, I'll be fine. Just give me 10 minutes." I say to her and she gives me a hug. "Ok now get ready, I miss my best friend." She smiles at me before leaving me in my room.

I change into my skiing outfit and slowly walk to the lounge where everyone is relaxing. This will be good for me. Some fresh mountain air, time with my friends and time away from my phone and the news as I will be leaving my phone behind. I start to get excited as I love skiing. A small smile on my face as I enter the lounge to find Max and Pietra cuddling on the couch looking at something on Max's phone while Lando and Taryn are locked in what seems like a playful argument. As I enter the room, Taryn looks up and a big smile appears on her face. "Hannah! Perfect timing. Let's go guys!" She yells and immediately everyone starts moving.

We spent the day skiing almost every slope in the resort. Lando and max made jokes the whole day and we were enjoying ourselves so much. I'm so grateful for them as they took my mind off of everything going on. As we walk back to the chalet, an arm appears across my shoulder. "I, for one, am glad to have Hannah back. Your smile was missed." Lando says from next to me. "Aww thanks Lan, and thank you guys for cheering me up today. You guys are the bestest friends ever and I'm so grateful for all of you." I say with a soft smile.

The boys stoked the fire and poured drinks while this girls cleaned up the kitchen after dinner. We were laughing and singing along to the music that Lando was playing through the tv. Once done we joined the boys by the fire and they handed us our drinks.

After a few hours of complete chaos and many different conversation topics, we all settled down in the chairs surrounding the fire. That's when my mind began to wonder...

How come all my past relationships have failed after a couple of months? I keep looking for a relationship that will last but it feels like I'm waiting for a train that will never come. I have trusted these guys and put what I can into the relationships but they all fell apart so easily. I must be the problem, but I have no idea where to start.

Taryn snapped me out of my daydreaming by tugging on my arm. "Have you seen the stars here yet?" She asks me. I shake my head and she smiles, grabbing my hand and pulling me from the chair and out onto the balcony. "Wow, it's beautiful." I say softly, looking out at the millions of stars that are winking back at me. "I thought you might like it." She smiles.

We stand there looking at the starts for a few minutes before Taryn sighs. "Look, Han. I know the media has been tough on you and that your past relationships have ended badly but none of them was your fault. Matt and Mason cheated, Tristan, Daniel and Harry ended it because of the distance, you're still friends with mick and George, and Marcus was just insecure and afraid. We all have Scarlett letters Han, some are worse than others but we learn to overcome them and deal with them in a healthy way and that is what I want for you. I hope you know that you are the furthest thing from the problem. You are incredibly talented, amazing, smart, kind, funny and you're an amazing driver. Any man would be lucky to have you and those guys in your past have lost out big time. I just wanted you to know that." She says and tears well up in my eyes before I tackle her in a hug. "Thank you." I whisper. "Any time girl, that's what best friends are for." She says with a smile. We look at the stars for a few more minutes before we both start to get cold and quickly went inside.
