- (Y/n) POV -

It's been a few days since Percy was announced as a kid of Poseidon and now has his own cabin, like you. It's come to your attention that he's been acting a bit strangely, so you and Annabeth watched him quietly as he went through his daily motions, picking activities, picking when to eat, when to wake up, and when to sleep.

It was evident to you that he was struggling with adjusting to the concept of having his own cabin, just like you did when you first got claimed by your father. Luckily, it wasn't as bad since you had friends like Luke and Annabeth to keep you company and be around when you needed help. They were your shoulder to lean on.

Maybe the same can't be said for Percy since you noticed his only friend was Grover, who wasn't around the camp's main activity and events except for lunch and chores like all the other Satyr.

You shook your head slightly, erasing your thoughts about Percy and looking down at your plate. You felt distraught at the fact that you were even thinking before finishing your food with some leftover strawberries.

You lectured yourself slightly before engulfing the last few strawberries on your plate, putting away the glass dish as the sun started to set. The rest of the campers were in their own place, talking and enjoying themselves with friends and singing, but you felt too exhausted for that.

The combination of gloomy weather and training all afternoon with Luke had tired you out as if you ran a marathon. Your muscles felt a little sore, so you wanted to get to your cabin as soon as possible to relax before bed.

You walked away from the outdoor dining area, waving goodbye to Annabeth, Luke, and some other friends as you headed to your cabin. Unaware that a pair of ocean-green eyes followed you as you left.

You entered your cabin with a relief feeling, the warmth and cozy air hitting your skin just right. You soon changed into sleepwear for the night, setting your bed and placing the stuffed food plushie you accidentally knocked out that morning back onto your bed.

Feeling satisfied with the way you set up your bed, you quickly laid down with a plop. You let out a groan of relief as your muscles finally loosened against your soft bed, stretching your limbs until you heard a light popping sound. But your thoughts were interrupted by faint footsteps outside your door.

You furrowed your eyebrows as you tried to narrow your hearing to the noise outside your door. They were way different from Annabeth's and Luke's. These sounded too hesitant and awkward to be hers and were too light to be Luke's. You raise a brow in question, turning your head to the door, wondering who it could be.

The footsteps behind your door went silent, making you narrow your eyes at the door from this strange behavior happening outside your door. You sighed as you rolled off your bed and walked over to your door, swinging it open only to see Percy standing there with an alarmed face.
